33 Best Bar & Grill in Virginia Beach

“Park Lane on Fordham Drive in Virginia Beach is a great place for drinks, dinner, parties, meeting friends. I have been a frequent patron of Park Lane at this location for a very long time and at least twice a week. I spoke with manager Jim this evening and complimented him on the way the restaurant and bar is run. The restaurant is well kept and attended to. The wait staff and bar tenders are super efficient, well versed with knowledge of the product and food there. They are fast and very efficient, and honestly all of them have great work ethic and have a wonderful sense of humor. They make you feel like a part of their family and are very professional. They really get to know you (especially if you’re a regular customer), and that’s why it’s such a pleasure to frequent the restaurant. We laugh and kid around with each other and the atmosphere really is light, lively, fun and all around pleasurable. The kitchen staff prepare and present the dishes with absolute care and appeal…. and the food is delicious! I haven’t been disappointed once! The orders come out of the kitchen with care and they are very prompt. The analogy that I would say about this particular restaurant is that “it’s a well-oiled machine”, as it’s run with precision, it’s very efficient, and everyone works well with each other, and honestly they all seem so happy! It’s a wonderful place and I recommend it very highly. You won’t be disappointed, and I might add that the prices are very reasonable. Thanks to Jim, Justin and all the managers at this location, and a great BIG thank you to the wait staff, bar tenders, cooks, kitchen staff, janitors, clean up crews for an outstanding job well done! You ALL really go above and beyond expectations and other like establishments should take a lesson from you all. Thank you for your wonderful service and for the friendships that will always be cherished. Thank you again and know you are truly appreciated for your hard work, your loyalty and for taking care of our every wants and needs. You should get the Best Restaurant Award if there’s such a thing!“

“We LOVE this place! We usually go to the Norfolk location and this was our first time trying it in Virginia Beach, we loved it just as much! Both locations offer amazing atmosphere, but VA beach has better parking. I highly recommend eating here, it's easy to veganize different meals and the prices are very reasonable, especially with it being such a nice place with fresh and thoughtful food“

“Crystal and the others at the location are always wonderful and there are some amazing eats to be tried! The chicken salad club is great, and so are the "Cuban" (or Cubano, don't have the item name in front of me) and the Reuben and numerous other items. It is a small place, but quality! I had photos, but cannot seem to locate them...I go regularly, so I will update this space after my next visit :)“

“We've been to 615 several times to watch Wonderland and Audiohum perform. I'd like to take a moment to commend the waitresses and staff. By far the best service we've received from anywhere in town. They're quick and continuously on the move. If your looking for great service, a fun atmosphere, then this is the place to go.“

“This is my new favorite restaurant in Virginia Beach. Food is so flavorful with a lot of healthy options, with a broad assortment on appetizers. Their mushroom and goat cheese pizza was on point! We also ordered the Mediterranean Nachos, and they were phenomenal. We went to celebrate a birthday and got a sweet birthday card and free dessert. The service was exceptional. And the waterfront view is spectacular. I can't wait to go back.“

“Laugh at me all y'all want about this, but my favorite 2 things from here are getting an order of hush puppies in my to go order with a gallon of their lemonade. Here's why... 1 their lemonade taste like my Meemaw's from back home. The hush puppies is because they put them in the to go container hot... then throw in the little butter packs. It melts the butter in packs and I can dip my hush puppies in it! Again, reminds me of home!!! Most of their food does lol LOVE THIS PLACE!“

“It is now called Double D's on Bonney Road..This place is big so even though some people may smoke in there it is not really noticeable..The wait staff is so friendly Toni is a awesome bartender and the others are great too just did not get their names. The owners are on scene and down to Earth Kelly and Mike..And the atmosphere is light with music always going. This place is super clean from the floors to the bathroom..The food is much better than the average bar food..So if you and friends want a great place to have fun and kick back go to Double D's“

“When in Virginia Beach, and you're looking for an informal and relaxed atmosphere where the locals hang out, you really can't beat Ched's Place eat, play games like Virginia Lottery and casino style video games, and enjoy a full bar. The local clientele are a nice mix of younger to retired military folks who enjoy getting to know new faces.
I highly recommend this restaurant and lounge.“

I recently visited Margarita Grill, and Jackie, the bartender, made the experience absolutely incredible! From the moment I sat down, her warm and friendly demeanor made me feel welcome. Jackie is not only extremely skilled at her craft, but she also has a great ability to read the vibe of her guests, creating the perfect balance of conversation and service.

Her margaritas are out of this world — she clearly knows her way around a cocktail shaker! Jackie recommended a custom drink based on my preferences, and it was one of the best cocktails I’ve ever had. Her attention to detail and commitment to quality really stood out.

On top of her talent behind the bar, Jackie’s energy and enthusiasm brought so much life to the atmosphere. She’s a true gem, and I’ll definitely be coming back to Margarita Grill because of her! Highly recommend sitting at her bar if you want top-notch drinks and service.

Okay… I officially moved from 1 star to 5…. Here’s why: Shay Horst became the new manager this week. She made fantastic changes to the staff and menu and prices and kitchen.

She has changed the entire vibe of the restaurant. I love it now!“

Food was worth the money!! We wanted to try the shakes but didn’t have room they were huge and you got to take home the glass jar which was worth the money!“
