Excellent option for a modern version is fast casual mexican. Summer did a fantastic job assisting. I would highly recommend a visit if you are in the town center area and in the mood for their take on food from south of the border.

Cantina Laredo offers excellent Tex-Mex food in a spacious setting, making it ideal for large groups. The bar is convenient for grabbing a drink while waiting for a table. The decor is pleasant, but the loud music and hard surfaces can make the atmosphere noisy at times. The food is often fresh, delicious, and well-prepared, with options like veggie enchiladas and fajitas with Impossible beef-like crumbles. Drinks are wonderful, and the staff, including bartenders, provide great service. The food was amazing and fresh and hot. The waitress was great, and the Chicken Fajitas came out sizzling hot with incredible flavor. The chips & salsa were delicious. Guests enjoy the view at Town Center and find the place welcoming and reasonably priced. Many appreciate the friendly staff, making it a good choice for both casual dinners and quick suppers before shows. Recently, visitors praised the very delicious food, especially the fish tacos and Carne Asada, which was tender and served with chimichurri sauce, lime rice, and black beans. They also enjoyed the fresh guacamole made table side with tasty chips and sauces. While some found the food okay and the Chicken Fajitas not seasoned enough, others enjoyed the meals, and the attentive waitress added to the positive experience.
