“Sometimes dessert is about a whole lot more than dessert.

My daughter and I stopped at Cold Stone Creamery after our daddy-daughter dinner and picked up some ice cream before heading out to Town Center Plaza. We found a place to sit outside, enjoyed our dessert, and just talked.

The ice cream was delicious, of course, but what made the evening memorable was having something so simple give us a reason to slow down and spend a little more time together. No rushing off to the next thing—just a dad and his daughter, sitting in the plaza on a beautiful evening, eating ice cream and having a great conversation.

Those are the moments you realize you’ll remember long after the ice cream is gone.
