I was staying across the street at the Founders Inn and walked across the street for a quick bite to eat. Very friendly service and the food was delicious! You can tell that the owner really cares about the business and serving people. When I was there, there were a bunch of regular customers that she seemed to know well and really loved her.

When I called yesterday before 5pm she was very friendly and seemed happy to hear my voice it seemed like we knew each other by phone and she placed my order when I arrived it was hot and the dinner was awesome I've been wanting pigfeet since another soulfood place shut down without any notice, but Ellen's was the BOMB!! tastey and the greens were seasoned just like I like yams were smooth to coleslaw just right and when paying we chatted more of where each other were...
