“Wow! What a hidden gem. We have lived here over 43 years and this by far, the best seafood restaurant we have been to. We were given a gift certificate as a gift and had never even heard of your amazing restaurant. You get 10/10 forks and that is only the second time I have given that high of a rating. We will be back soon, even though its a 40 minute drive to get there! Thank you for everything you offer. Perfection plus.“

“High quality dining experience with great food and fantastic service! A very popular spot in VB town center, perfect for small groups. Came on Monday evening and it was full, we had to wait for a table, but could sit at the bar while we waited. Highly recommend Chang's Lettuce wraps appetizer, came with so much extra filling. The entree portions were large, we all had enough leftovers to make another meal. Our server was very kind and even boxed all of our leftovers for us. All in all, for the service, portions and quality of food, and ambience of the restaurant, it's well worth it.“

“Born and raised in the Hampton Roads and it took me 43 years to make it here. Definitely wish I started years ago. They have the best gluten free waffles, rich creamy feta (not that cheap stuff), and everything tastes freshly prepared and seasoned well. Check them out if you have celiac’s or gluten intolerant. You won’t be disappointed. I’m looking forward to trying the bagel sandwich and breakfast wrap…both of which can be made GF 👀 Remember, support your local restaurants.“

“My girlfriend and I went out for some fine dining last night at Terrapin, and it did not disappoint!! Our server Allie was a consummate professional, and the GM/sommelier was very friendly and knowledgeable. It’s a well-known fact that fine dining is not cheap, but not only were the prices not all that bad here, but the food quality was exceptional. They also have a special on Tuesdays: 50% off for service industry workers. I found that awesome, remembering where they started from, and making it available to those individuals. We are planning on making this a monthly thing for us. Shrimp tagliatelle for me, black squid ink linguine for her. Our entrees were chicken piccata for me, and she indulged in the roasted duck. For dessert, she selected a seasonal dessert special called It’s The Great Pumpkin, whereas I kept it simple with an affogato w/ French vanilla bean ice cream. 10/10 - would definitely recommend!!“

“My Vegan Sweet Tooth is an absolute dream for anyone with a sweet tooth! From the moment I walked in, the staff made me feel so welcome with their warm, friendly, and attentive service. They genuinely care about every guest, and it really shows in the way they go above and beyond to make your experience special. The vegan doughnuts were perfect fluffy, flavorful, and not too sweet, just the right amount of sugar to make every bite delightful. I especially loved the chocolate rainbow sprinkles, Boston crème, and vanilla rainbow sprinkles doughnuts. The best part they’re completely vegan and allergen-free, including being free of nuts, so everyone can indulge worry free. Every bite was heavenly, and I couldn’t get enough! The atmosphere is just as amazing as the food cozy, charming, and full of positive energy. It’s the perfect place to relax, treat yourself, and enjoy a fun outing with friends. If I could give My Vegan Sweet Tooth a 100 percent score, I certainly would! It’s a true gem, and I can’t wait to come back to try everything else on the menu.“

“I was in Virginia Beach last June and stopped by Vibrant Shore twice. Absolutely loved it. Tried a couple different beers and they were all very good. One night there were a couple very cute and friendly dogs and guy singing out front. Awesome chill atmosphere. Only wish I had found it earlier in the trip.“

“First time today and I will be back! Such a cute little shop and omg so good!! Stopped by with my friend and my dog after a walk for coffee and breakfast. Cute little area outside to sit with the pup, coffee was delicious and the loaded avocado bagel was DELICIOUS like mouth watering. My friend got the banana pb bagel and loved every bite and my dog loved his pup cup. Definitely one of my new favorite places and will be a regular stop after our weekly walks 🖤🙌🏻“

“We ordered a cutting cake and cupcakes for our wedding and they were amazingly delicious! Flour Child Bakery really helped us get a beautiful cake and we appreciated their dedication to quality ingredients. We over-ordered cupcakes for guests but they were so good that we had surprisingly few leftovers. They were great to work with picking out our flavors and finalizing the look of our cutting cake. They have awesome flavor options and combos for cake and it honestly made it hard to pick! I recommend them for any event but also everything in their store is tasty for whenever you have a sweet craving.“

“We stopped by No Frills Grill for a quick bite recently, and it was fantastic. I ordered the Caesar salad topped with fried calamari—a dish I first fell in love with a few years ago—and it definitely didn’t disappoint! My husband went with the fried flounder fish and chips; the portion was massive and perfectly prepared. Even the coleslaw was delicious, which says a lot since I’m very particular about it. To top it off, our server, KT, was absolutely awesome and made sure we had everything we needed throughout the meal.“

“Sunnyside was in walking distance to our hotel. We opted for Sunnyside rather than the expensive hotel breakfast. Sasha waited on us and was so patient with our very (very!) indecisive kiddos. She was also very attentive to our beverage refills and was very welcoming and friendly. We ordered French toast combos and waffle combos. Everything was very good and we all left with very full bellies! Cant wait to come back!“

“1/9/26 - came here to have a drink and a snack. We got the shrimp appetizer,and it was really good, nice flavors. My husband got the Mac and cheese to go with grilled chicken. He said it was decent. We sat at the bar and the bar tender was super nice and check in at the right times. We just got there right after their lunch specials that ends at 4. Would like to come back and try other things“

“I took my elderly father there for dinner and everyone was so accommodating and helpful. Ashley one of the managers personally saw to it that we had a wonderful experience. Our meals were exactly how we ordered them and Joy the bartender made sure I had the perfect cocktail. The pork belly is my absolute favorite.“

“This place was awesome! We went in on a whim not knowing what we were getting into. We ordered a few macarons, an apple tart, and a chocolate croissant. Hands down the best we’ve had! The service was also very great. We had a very nice conversation with one of the owners. We will be back!“

“Usually love this Rita’s, the staff is awesome and the owners are super sweet. Tonight we had a not so good experience. We showed up at 9:50, they close at 10. We waited about 5 minutes for someone to come to the window, as we waited the staff made eye contact with us a few times before even acknowledging that we were there. They were cleaning up as they were about to close, all the machines were broken down. After someone finally came to the window, we were greeted with annoyed staff for us showing up 10 minutes before closing. I wouldn’t have written this review if someone would have said “ sorry but we have cleaned up shop and aren’t serving anymore tonight”. I would have been completely okay with it! The open sign was still on, so I’m not sure why there was a problem, I have family in town that are leaving tomorrow and they wanted to come to Rita’s one last time. Sorry for the inconvenience!“

“Ynot on Kempsville Road is an amazing family place to dine. My family and I went there Tuesday 1-13-26 to celebrate my granddaughters 8th birthday. The staff was able to accommodate all of us. The waitress was extremely kind and amazing . Not only was she attentive to each guest she was patient. One of the best experiences I have had in a long time. We will definitely return. Just want to thank everyone for making my granddaughter birthday special. One of the best eggplant Parmesan I’ve ever had. The entire staff was extremely friendly. Ynot is a 10 out of 10!!!“

“Spent Saturday morning here, it was our third visit to this location. Celebrating my 50th birthday the staff were wonderful especially the hostess that sang happy birthday to me. My only complaint is that this location seems to have a terrible issue with gnats and flies. My only conclusion is that they’re getting in from the porch. We have had to deal with these insects on all three visits. Due to this we will not be returning to this location.“

“This might be my new favorite seafood restaurant. Not just for the amazing food but also the staff. The waitress (Carlie i believe) gave us some good tips on how to have the broccoli cooked and the history of the building. She truly went above and beyond her job. The bartender made my mom laugh as we celebrated her birthday. The broiled seafood was so delicious and filling. True lump crab meat, nice size shrimp, tender scallops and perfect lobster tail. I cant wait to go back when its warmer and we can sit outside.“
