“We were shopping at the new Vintage Virginia on General Booth and decided to try J&K for lunch. We are so happy we did and we highly recommend this little grill if you are looking to try some wonderfully flavored food. We tried the Philly Cheesesteak Egg Roll, Ranch Jerk chicken and Chili Cheese hotdog. Yum, yum, yummy. We look forward to going back and trying more flavors on the wings and other items on the menu. “We frequent Embassy Suites in Virginia Beach often since they opened, and we always make several visits to Article’s Bar and Grill. The only reason this post isn’t a 1star review is because of Christian and Tripp both went above and beyond with their customer service. They were kind, attentive, and genuinely friendly. They are a true asset behind the bar and know how to make guests feel welcome. Unfortunately, we did have a very awkward and unpleasant encounter with another bartender (Lori) on two separate visits. We weren’t the only ones who noticed, her attitude came across as rude and unhappy to be there, which made customers uncomfortable. The first time, we let it go because everyone can have an off day. But the second time, her energy was even worse. I did bring it up to a manager on site, and I truly hope it gets addressed because that type of experience can easily drive customers away. Aside from that, the wings were delicious, and the drinks that Christian and Tripp prepared were great. Until next time—we’re hoping for a better experience overall.“

“I went with my mom to celebrate her birthday and it's one of the best sushi I've had! The service was great too, the waitress is very kind and brought us free miso soup to apologize for the long wait due to a lot of people coming to the restaurant. The food is great I couldn't wait to take a picture before I had some to eat first. We got the unagi, California, rainbow and Virginia rolls and the sashimi appetizers and we loved all of them. Will definitely visit again 🤩“

“We wanted muffuletta sandwiches on Fat Tuesday so we decided to try Clayton's for lunch! Susan & Shakuria were hustling to take care of their customers, they did a great job ensuring we all were served to the best of their abilities & that we received delicious food & beverages as quickly as they could provide them. They worked well as a team, Susan taking orders & serving and Shakuria cooked all the delicious food!! I had a yummy Muffuletta with Mac & cheese and hubs had fries with his. Their Mac & cheese is crazy good, the best l've had in a restaurant! Susan mixed up a tasty lemon drop martini for me, it's difficult to get a good lemon drop anywhere in the 757 and this one was a favorite! Clayton's has a good selection of $1 beers, yes a can of beer is only $1, so hubs had and local IPA & a PBR! We enjoyed our experience at Clayton's & definitely recommend! If we hadn't been set on having muffulettas I would have ordered their special of the day, a butter burger with fries for $8.99! On Monday I sent Clayton's an email inquiring if they would be serving muffulettas for Fat Tuesday since we live 30 minutes away and received a timely reply from the owner, Ralph Anderson, I was happy to see that they provide great customer service from beginning to end!“

“Love the food, ambiance and people at Back Bay. Not the biggest menu but the crab cakes and hot honey brussel sprouts are to die for. Whether we are at the bar or a table we try to get Shaun as our server. He is always so attentive, friendly and knowledgeable about all the food and drinks available and always anticipates our needs or questions. He really makes us feel like we are welcomed, comfortable, and valued. I can't say that about many servers/restaurants in our area. Want a nice meal with a pleasant atmosphere try Back Bay and don't forget to ask for Shaun.“

“Stopped in for a quick lunch, there were two of us and we just got soup and salad. The salad bar looked very clean, all produce was full and fresh, and it all tasted fresh and delicious. I got the gumbo and it was excellent, big pieces of okra and shrimp. I tried Jason's blueberry pomegranate at the soda machine and loved it. Seating was spaced for comfort and tables were clean, and the staff was very friendly.“

“Food is great, with large portions. Service is super. Prices are bit high. But it is in town center and the rent is probably high. One other negative is the parking. But there is a parking garage within the same block and that is very helpful.“

“My wife and I come here often for special occasions! Last night, we celebrated my wife’s birthday. Casey was our server and she was so warm, friendly, and knowledgeable about the menu and drinks. She consistently checked up on us and made the experience amazing. Of course, a reason to come to the Hunt Room is the atmosphere. So romantic and cozy. Had live music which only added to the experience. Our food and drinks were perfect and my wife said it was the best birthday dinner ever. “This was a very cool place! We are vacationing in VB and are vegan so finding a restaurant that had so many options to make their regular menu items vegan was amazing. I had the vegan carne asade tacos and they were delicious. The chunky guac and house made chips were also great for everyone to share. Other members of my family got chicken tacos, taco salad, and cheese quesadilla, all made vegan for us and everyone was really happy with their food. The interior is fun and cool atmosphere here. Very surfside vibe like Southern California! We used to live in SoCal and know what great Mexican food is like…this was very authentic and very well done! Highly recommend this place.“

“It was a girls trip to Virginia Beach and we need some Italian food. Let me just say…this restaurant did not disappoint. First the bread oil dip was UNBELIEVABLE. So many flavors in this little dish.
Next up was the clams casino and carpaccio… the clams were so crispy and fresh tasting. The carpaccio was sliced sooo thin and the arugula was dressed perfect.
One of the girls ordered the linguine with clams and it had so many clams and the sauce was so flavorful. The chicken francese was cooked perfect. It doesn’t come with pasta but you can add it for $5. Do it.
We were too full for dessert but the options were plentiful and everything is made in house.
Can’t wait to go back.“

It can get busy no matter the time of day, but the servers we experienced were always very accommodating and the food was delicious. Always a quick and easy that everyone enjoys when in VA Beach. “So excited that Habit Bar & Grill opened in the 757! Being allergic to latex leaves me with limited options, so I was thrilled to find out they use vinyl and nitrile gloves. It’s great to have a new spot I can safely enjoy when I’m craving a good burger!

If you want a refreshingly light drink, try the Dragonfruit Limeade—I was so impressed with how subtly tart and not overly sweet it was. Such a nice, refreshing option if you don’t want a soda. I ordered the Teriyaki Char Meal, and the burger was cooked perfectly! They did forget my grilled pineapple at first, but they brought it out right away. The combination of pineapple, teriyaki sauce, and caramelized onions created a delicious sweet-savory flavor that’s now one of my favorites.

The sweet potato fries were also excellent—and I really appreciate that they didn’t add cinnamon sugar. The restaurant itself was spotless, well-run, and had a welcoming vibe. You order at the counter when you walk in, but the employees are right there if you need help—so friendly and attentive.“

“Let me just say I was getting bagels from the Lynnhaven Mall location and the bagels did not taste like the Florida Panera or every other Panera that I ever had. They are too fluffy like they came out of a package. But this particular Panera whoever they get their bagels from bravo because these are delicious chewy real bagels with lots of seeded and salt and everything on everything bagel. I will go out of my way to drive to this location. Get your everything bagels from here the best hands down“
