“5 stars and then some- the food is absolutely delicious and this is one of the few places I feel safe eating on the island. I have a severe shellfish allergy- including having issues with cross contamination. Better is able to accommodate for my allergy and is always quick to answer any questions I have about which foods are safe for me, packs my meal separately from any shellfish, etc. I highly recommend trying them- you won’t be disappointed!!!”

“Cute little coffee shop on the corner as you come into town. Staff is extremely friendly. Has a small gift shop and cute dog toys and accessories. Best coffee in town, just my opinion.”

“We have been to Ray's many times over the years & it has always been a nice experience. Tonight was the WORST service we have ever had. On top of that, the stuffed shrimp was overcooked & only 4 shrimp for $35. For the amount of $ spent, it was highly disappointing all-around.”

“We’ve been here for a few days and I have been dying for Italian food. We came here on a whim and we were not disappointed. The service was impeccable. Blake was on top of his game and the nicest server we’ve had on the island so far. The food Was out of this world. We are from the New York area and particular about Italian food, the linguine with shrimp special was amazing. The polenta meatballs out of this world., the Caesar salad was absolutely fantastic and probably the best Caesar dressing I have ever had!!! And then to top it off that orange/mandarin cake with olive oil was mind blowing. This place turned it up to 11!!! Best meal we have had yet!!!”

“Our first time to Chincoteague and camping at Yogi. My husband was told we had to try Capt Zach’s well let’s just say we were not disappointed one bit. The freshest seafood I have had in along time. Our Waitress Valerie was very nice and attentive. If you go just know to go early. You will have a slight wait but you won’t be disappointed for sure. 10/10 will be back and it will be worth the 2 hr drive.”

We were traveling to Virginia Beach when we saw the sign for El Crucero y Taquería and decided to stop — and we’re so glad we did! The food is absolutely delicious, with a homemade flavor you can truly taste. The tacos have a unique and authentic flavor, just like something you’d get at home. If you enjoy real, home-style Mexican food, this place is a must-try. We’d definitely come back. A hidden gem!”

“We spent the weekend in Chincoteague for our 65th anniversary. On Saturday we ate lunch and dinner at Bill's. My husband had oysters for lunch and flounder for dinner and was pleased with both selections. I had shrimp for lunch and the fried seafood platter for dinner. They shrimp for both meals were very small and did not have a lot of taste. The clam chowder that was included with my dinner was delicious. The rest of the seafood was average. For sides we had the Granny Smith apple cold slaw and red mashed potatoes with cheddar and hamhocks. Both were absolutely scrumptious. Our cocktails were great, as was the service! We made reservations for dinner. The restaurant filled up quickly but there seemed to be adequate staff. All the staff we encountered were very friendly. We would go back again.”

“Our family spent the day with our baseball team at the park and enjoyed some beverages at Keko's bar. The staff was very attentive and quick to serve us. I mistakenly left my card at the bar and Neilly over delivered by mailing my card back to me on her day off. THANK YOU SO MUCH!! I highly recommend the drinks, atmosphere, and most definitely the people/staff at Keko's and Maui Jack's.”

“We got there before the dining room opened (opens at 4:00), so we ate at the bar, which I didn't really want to do, but we ended up having so much fun! The place filled up within 15 minutes of getting there, and we struck up conversations with so many people in the bar. It's definitely a local hang out, so you can get great tips of places to go/do/see in the area. They also have some great local beers and cocktails, and the food was delicious. The bar tenders were all very friendly and love to chat. I would highly recommend Steamers!”
