“4J's is a great place to spend an afternoon & evening. Jonathan and Jessica are wonderful people who do a lot for the community and for our military veterans. If I'm going out for some good beer and great atmosphere, I'm driving 45 minutes to go to 4J's - it's worth it. They also have great live music.”

“Super cute cheesecake place! They’re open only for a short amount of time during the day. They have slices of cheesecake and also entire cakes. It’s such a cute hidden gem. I got the orange poppyseed, berry, and espresso cheesecakes and all were pretty good. They were each roughly $6 and the size was a decent size.”

“Visited for the first time tonight as my son is a new employee and it seemed like the right thing to do. The food: I had the Fried Goat Cheese salad and the Baked Potato Soup. The salad was excellent. Lots of field greens and plentiful toppings. Fried Goat Cheese is always a winner. The Baked Potato Soup was also fantastic. Plentiful toppings and excellent rashers! The staff: Friendly and attentive. As an employer: Great family business approach and an extension of the village that parents count on to help raise their children. All around great experience.”

“Came in today around 2:15pm. I often frequent this Longhorn on my days off, in the evenings. I have my favorites for eats and drinks. The atmosphere is welcoming no matter what season. All the staff are pleasant and accommodating. I have eaten everything on their menu so I know exactly what my go-to will be. Today was the 10oz Bourbon salmon, cold side salad and a plain baked potato. No mistake, the baked potato is oven baked, not microwaved,”

“Layne's is by far the best chicken place I have found in VA. They crush Caine's in the chicken fingers, fries, and friendly service. I have been here three times now and have thoroughly enjoyed every visit. The fries and chicken were fresh and the service was very friendly. They have a family of new fans now!”

“The food is very good. But my review is more about their hospitality. They r very polite on the phone. And they are one of the few that deliver. My husband does dialysis and is wiped out on these days I don't drive so for them to deliver is very much appreciated. Thank you so much!!!”

“Excellent bakery in downtown Winchester in a charming old building. Free dog biscuits. Some seating inside and outside. Free limited parking. Everything we ordered was very good tasting. Limited coffee selection. No expresso drinks I believe. Standing in small cash register area can get crowded. They really do have a red old Ford truck on property!

“I had two bad visits one my sandwich wasn't rite and the next it was completely a different sandwich than I ordered I asked for turkey and Swiss I got home and it was ham and cheddar I have medical issues I cant eat pork I went back the next day and I told them I got a shoulder shrug and a psst like I was bothering them that's two meals I didn't get to eat I feel like I should at least get them replaced .but instead I got a I don't care from the worker I hope they make this rite”

“Under new management since August 2025, the Grainery has been focusing on building community and bringing back chill vibes—has both big, high-energy events and relaxed days for studying or just hanging out with friends. On Wednesdays the Grainery has 25% for nurses, teachers, other school/medical/hospital staff, first responders, veterinarians, military (and vets), etc. to celebrate the community. Thursdays are packed for Trivia, Fridays are game nights (alternating weeks between board games and music bingo), Saturday and Sunday there are different events and specials. Cool place to host events like birthday parties or book clubs”

“It is easy to miss this place, but don't! I go to the veterinarian a few doors down all the time and never even noticed it. Yesterday we were coming back from Warrenton and were pretty hungry. We knew about a brewery a few doors down, only bc that one has a huge sign, and Jackleg has an arrangement to provide pizza there. That is how we discovered them. They will literally deliver it to your table, but since we did not want alcohol, we decided to just walk over. BEST. PIZZA. EVER. And we have lived a few decades. Highly recommend for very friendly service by the owners themselves and some truly great food.”

“We went to Denim & Pearls in Warrenton for dinner tonight with friends. What a lovely dining experience. The food was delicious and the service was outstanding. Our group ordered the baked brie and the fried pork belly for appetizers. It was very good especially the baked brie. For dinners we ordered the beef short ribs, shrimp skewers, beef short rib pasta, and a wedge salad with beef skewer. And for dessert we ordered the bread pudding. Everything was yummy. Definitely a nice dining experience for all of us tonight at Denim & Pearls. I recommend giving them a try. ?”

“Yesterday I went through drive through got Cobb salad and Chick-fil-A sandwich with extra extra maximum amount of pickles as when I pulled around after letting team member had mobile order I agreed when they confirmed my order that that was the way to go for a great A quality chicken sandwich. Sometimes I feel Chick-fil-A for salads should give Chick-fil-A fans like me option to add extra chicken cause I feel to be a Chick-fil-A lover you need extra chicken and not only that would recommend cucumber flavored pickles for my salad why not I feel cucumber-pickles flavored would go great together on salad and also I always have been a Chick-fil-A lover and sometimes I feel an extra maximum amount of pickles is not enough if you truly are a Chick-fil-A fan. We Chick-fil-A fans need that extra side of pickles on the side and cucumber flavored pickles to make the salads to continue to satisfy Chick-fil-A fans like me.”

We had tried another Chinese food joint less than a mile away and that place wasn’t good but I wanted to give this place a chance - TOPS DID NOT DISAPPOINT!!! “My family and I have tried lunch here a few times now and over the past year there has been no improvement unfortunately. Burnt food, small portions, low quality ingredients and dismally slow service. Our entries came out before the appetizers, didn't get refills on drinks. The hot dogs and buns and nacho chips were burnt, there were more chips not covered in any cheese etc than there were covered. we sent a whole plate of naked chips back. Also, lettuce for the brisket wraps was wilted beyond use. Rice and asparagus had no seasoning, there no salt/pepper on the table. Rice undercooked. Pizza made my family sick and was drowning in sauce. Service for ANYTHING took forever the waitress was unapologetic and acted like it was an inconvenience we were even there. We just wanted to leave and even the check/ring up process was confusing and long winded. took forever just to get out the door. 3rd strike not going back, looking forward to what business replaces it.”

However they have gotten my order wrong many times(that I make on the app) but of course, they have new workers almost always, which it’s whatever but please train your workers. I am grateful that they are willing to correct my order, but I just hate being that person. Other than that they do a decent job.”

“Of all of the Subways in the area, this one is definitely one of the better ones. Service here is good, the manager is very nice, the store feels clean, and the likelihood of the food here being fresh is higher than that of other nearby locations. If you're in the mood for Subway, I recommend this location over others.”

“A small but conveniently located Starbucks on the 29 right before the Warrenton exits. They also have a drive thru window if you’re in a hurry. Super clean inside, servers are friendly and helpful. Very fast service and as we were the only ones eating in, they even brought over our drinks. Not a lot of seating inside but there is a small patio with seating outside too.”
