“This brewery is loaded with charm. They make great beer with a lot of options to choose from. The people running the bar are cool and very helpful. You might have to look for the place or ask around to find it since it’s basically a basement, but you’ll be glad you did. It’s a hidden jewel.“
“This place deserves more visitors!The hubs and I "stumbled" upon this brewery and decided to stop so that our pup could get a break from the car. We were pleasantly surprised with the beers offered. I tried a flight and really liked all but one, which is unusual for me to like so many. The second time we went, they had new options, and again, they were surprisingly good.This place has seating inside and out, and live music. It's nothing fancy, but the owner is still trying to get the area put together. The venue reminds me of 6 Bears and A Goat (without the frisbee golf), rather than a hip joint like OBH, or a large place like the Farm Brewery. But if you go for the beer, you should give this place a try.“
“We had an end of year company party in the Barrel room OBH . Beer was obviously good, and food was cattered .I didn't catch the name of the caterer, but the food was good too .I was busy with greatings , etc, so I didn't get pics .Nice layout and plenty of beer choices .“
“Kevin and Melody are great people and friends. The beer and setting are excellent. Focus is on the beer, good people, and a peaceful, agricultural setting. True quality. Also, Kevin totally generously, and totally unnecessarily, lined up to play Messi's first MLS game on the projector in their barrel room for my wife and my date night. Was such an awesome night and game. Won't forget that kindness of Kevin's! That's the kind of people your dealing with here.“
“In regards to a recent post regarding treating locals differently than NOVA patrons let me inform the lady that this brewery has been open less than 3 yrs. During those 3 yrs they have been voted #1 Brewery and #1 place for live music 2 years in a row and it’s the locals that do the voting. Unfortunately some believe they should get special treatment and skirt the rules where 99% of the locals and out of town patrons handle the rules just fine. This is an incredibly friendly place to visit with superior beers and atmosphere!!“
“We went early on a Friday night. The place looks very nice and the beer I had was good. I would have liked to try more, and the beer tenders offered samples, but I couldn't get a flight because it would have been too time consuming for the tenders. This was explained to me, as I was talking to two of them, while three more were helping the only other person at the bar. So it was one and done.“
“A beautiful farm brewery in a Virginia country setting. The beer is very good and the people are friendly. A great place to spend the day. If you have kids there is plenty of space for them to play outside. The day we were there they had live music that added to the fun.“
