Ono Brewing Company Brewery • $$
4520 Daly Dr #102, Chantilly

“This is a great brewery located in chantilly. We stopped by here for dinner one evening as we also wanted to try Odd BBQ which is located within the brewery. My husband I both ordered sours. The system they use is a card that you scan as you pour your own beer. It's linked to a credit card that is provided upon arrival to staff in which you can either leave the card you're given in a designated basket at the end of the night and staff will close out the tab with the card on file OR you can close out the tab with staff before leaving.“

Mustang Sally Brewing Company Brewery • $$
14140 Parke Long Ct A-C, Chantilly

“This place is a hidden gem! Great food! The cooks are so friendly! Ask, and they will talk to you about the food. The beer is always changing and tastes great! Prices on food and beer are excellent and filling! We saw they were having a New years Eve event, and it was so worth it! Met great people, had fun playing games, and eating BBQ toasting beers and bopping along to the music. The one slightly negative thing I'd say is the pinball coulddddddd be cheaper on a regular basis, but it's still an awesome time! Definitely recommend the trivia nights!!!“

“Living local with great brews and food! First time at the Oakton location and will definitely be back! Love the original but this one is even closer to home. Tried the Ghost of Val and the Le Grand Chocolat which were both delicious. The food options from The Fermented pig were perfect to compliment the beers. We tried the mac and cheese, deviled eggs and slider trio which were also as equally delicious as the beers. Back in 2021 I purchased 2 kegs for a birthday party and the staff then and again now we’re fantastic! If you love a great Local spot check out Settle Down East Oakton!“

Juicy Brewing Co Brewery • $$
257 Sunset Park Dr, Herndon - 5.25 miles

“As a Seattleite/Pacific Northwesterner & overall connoisseur of craft brewing, I’m proud to say that Juicy Brewing has become my favorite brewery! That speaks volumes since breweries such as Great Notion, Cascade Barrel House, Holy Mountain and many more top notch breweries are in my neighborhood. Whoever’s in charge here has some skills! Last week I was fortunate to visit Juicy again and was tickled to time it just right with the ANCHOVY variant drop of their AE OPAQUE!!! Juicy’s OPAQUE series are top tier hazy’s and each variant is unique and perfectly prepared. Along with their hazy offerings, the sours are out of this world! Quaint, cozy and cool is how I’d describe Juicy Brewing. Although I love their quirky glassware, I feel I’m being shorted a bit and would love other glassware/ pour options. Here in the PNW we drink hazy’s in full pint glasses and I’d love to see that or other options offered. That said; they don’t run a tab, so remember what you had! When you’re done it’s up to you to remember what you had…so be honest! Jaja. Never experienced that before. If you’re into Craft beer, especially hazy IPAs, double hazy IPAs and sours, you’ll love the vibe in this little nano knock out! **If you’re inclined, hit up Enatye Ethiopian Restaurant right around the corner for a truly magical and harmonious evening. CHEERS!“

“Where are the tips??? I'm referring to the filet mignon sirloin tips over creamy pasta! Twice this month I've gone early to attempt to enjoy this delectable dish. Last night I planned to get there by 11:15 to ensure I have a chance. I prayed this morning, showered, dressed and headed out on this beautiful Sunday. Alisa (sp) took care of us quickly. I wasted no time ordering Tex mex egg rolls, Ozzie rolls, 2 sirloin tips with a smile. Then she hit me with the terrible news at 11:22am "sorry, we don't have those today!" I grabbed my imaginary pearls and heart while slumping over in disappointment. I was speechless while my friend giggled as she knew that I was truly crushed! Alisa had to give us a moment to regroup and select something else. I debated for a second of leaving to head to Coastal Flats in case they had the "tips". I stayed and ordered the short smoked salmon filet, with mash potatoes and broccolini. My friend ordered the baby back ribs. The food arrived hot and fresh but I noticed there was no broccolini but asparagus instead. Apparently this week hasn't been a good week with certain items. However I tasted the baby back ribs and let me say they were beyond delicious! Who ever prepared those, cooked with love! My dish was tasty as well but I really want the tips! Can I get the tips??? Repeat after me "where are the tips?, where are the tips?" Ok I'm done! Sweetwater is consistently delicious but I need the tips!“

Bunnyman Brewing Brewery • $$
5583 Guinea Rd, Fairfax - 10.03 miles

“I've been to Bunnyman a lot--it is absolutely a favorite of the Burke neighborhood and beyond. They always are updating their beer list, and (my favorite) their seltzers! I worked out close by, and would hit Bunnyman with friends for their trivia nights (which were well run and wildly popular). The brewery definitely has its regulars, which (I think) speaks to the quality of the beer and the friendliness of the staff. We have a favorite FOH worker--Cat! She absolutely can recommend a beer or seltzer for any mood or occasion. I'm actually almost positive it's a superpower of hers, so feel free to chat with her and see the superpowers in action. Additionally, she contributes to the overall atmosphere and happy demeanor of those working the brewery; they obviously all love working together and the vibe reflects in the happiness of the customers.Highly recommend for any sort of occasion! You won't be disappointed.“

Chubby Squirrel Brewing Company Brewery • $

“Really chill atmosphere that was great for kids. Lot's of coloring books, crayons, and even chalk for the chalkboard wall in the back area. Weeknight specials are really a good deal considering how expensive everything is these days. We went on a Thursday and got the smashburgers which were surprisingly juicy and hotdogs are only $1 if you want something simple for kids. Will definitely make that part of the dinner rotation.“

Heritage Brewing Co. Brewery • $$
9436 Center Point Ln, Manassas - 10.32 miles

“Played here with the Northern Virginia Firefighters Emerald Society Pipe Band today after the Manassas St. Patricks Day Parade. I ordered the Scottish Ale and was pleased to find it tasted like a Scottish Ale should. Tentatively, I ordered a Black Pearl Porter. It tasted like a porter…no chocolate, peanut butter ,rapserry, nor other extra flavors so many other craft breweries try to put in their porter to make it “unique”. I will be back sample the rest of their line. So rare these days to find a craft brewery which has the courage and confidence in their skill to make quality brews that qualify as excellent examples of the style of beer without the gimmicks. Well done.“

Tucked Away Brewing Brewery • $$
8420 Kao Cir, Manassas - 9.22 miles

“I stopped in a few weeks ago to see what Tucked Away has to offer. They are located in a warehouse and have a large indoor area that can look in at the brewing workspace. They also have a few outdoor tables. I arrived right near opening time and had the place to myself for a little while. I sat at their bar area so I could chat with my server. He was informative and attentive. I found out that they have a Tuesday disc golf putting league, intriguing.I should have gotten a flight but was anxious and ordered a full sized jalapeno lager, can't remember the exact name. I'm not a regular lager drinker but a twist like this will get me every time. It had a decent peppery flavor and a little bit of burn, very nice. I followed that with a fix Bayonet neipa. Would recommend and will be adding to my area brewery crawl list.“

Dynasty Brewing Brewery • $$
21140 Ashburn Crossing Dr suite 130-135, Ashburn - 9.54 miles

“Great local microbrewery in Northern Virginia. Always a good mix of beers on tap and great staff too. I like that it’s not a huge brewery / restaurant like some other places, just beer, a few tv’s, back patio and relaxing environment. Also very dog friendly. We usually come w our two pups and grab a beer or two each week. On Sundays there’s also a discount if you bring a dog, and there’s a very fun trivia night on Wednesdays. It’s so fun / popular that if you don’t arrive early you may not find a table. Just a great local place to have in the community.“

Eavesdrop Brewery Brewery • $
7223 Centreville Rd Suite 115, Manassas - 6.62 miles

“We rented Eavesdrop's heated party tent and held an event here this weekend so this review is from the private party/event aspect!Start to finish the rental process was easy. A few emails back and forth, a form and payment/deposit. The tent, on a Saturday evening in the winter, for 3 hours was $150. ? There is an additional refundable $100 deposit for cleaning, so if you don't trash the place and you clean up after your party - and they give you 30 minutes after the ending of your event to do just that - you'll get the cleaning deposit back. The tent had ample seating and tables for our party. We had approx 25 adults and 16ish kids. There was plenty to of room to mosey around. The kids ran back and forth between the tent and playing outside. It is heated by 2 propane heaters which made it so much better than freezing outside, but most of us still needed jackets/coats.The adults commented on how great the event space was, and couldn't believe it when I told them it was only $150.The bartenders were amazing in every way possible. Super helpful, kind, didn't act like we were a nuisance. (We tried not to be) They even came in to tell us it was last call. They give you 30 minutes before to set up and 30 minutes after to clean up, not included in the 3 hour event timeframe. It was easy to go from the tent to the bar to get drinks.Eavesdrop has so many good beers on tap as well as hot spiced mulled wine, hot chocolate, seltzers, hot apple cider, etc.Easy parking situation , just don't park directly in front of Sheetz.Would recommend for hanging out and totally would recommend renting that party tent!“

Lake Anne Brew House Brewery • $$
11424 Washington Plaza W, Reston - 7.04 miles

“This is an awesome spot! They brew and serve on-site and have been here for several years now. A simple menu, the beer is good and quality is preferred over quantity. The staff is very friendly and will help you if you don’t know what you want. They also offer a taste of you have never had something. They have beer, cider, and other options, meaning everyone can get something. There is beer to go and swag. The stickers are free. The location is handicap accessible. They have a ramp at the door and tables outside.Additionally, seating is both inside and outside. I tried both and enjoyed both.I drank the Blond and the Red, which were smooth across the palate and easy on ABV. I don’t like high ABV, and they offer a spread here for all to enjoy. Seriously, anyone can find something here. There are plenty of food options around this brewery. I suggest the dumpling shop that is 20 yards away.I hope you enjoy this location as much as I did!“

Audacious Aleworks Brewery - Fairfax City Brewery •

“Definitely more bar and less restaurant then some of the other local brew pubs but was still fun. Ordered some pretzels and sandwiches. Both took a while so we filled up on popcorn a bit too much while we waited and then both came out at the same time so it was a bit much bread all at once. Split a sofia and barbarosa which were both a tad salty but good. The fried cheese drippings were a nice touch. Overall everyone enjoyed it.“

Just stopped by for the first time in years and I'm disappointed I didn't come by sooner.Everything I had was so good, like across the board the quality and clarity was there. The dark Czech and Dark English Mild were both so good (just wish the English bitter had still been available). The staff, especially Brandon, was super friendly.Glad to see this brewery make a name for itself in the local scene and it was cool to see how many collabs they had available too, great sign that a brewery is doing well for itself. “The Mrs. and I took a trip out to Manassas to meet our friends for dinner at a place called Public House Kitchen and Brewery, located on Battle Street. First of all it does not have its own parking, so you will be looking for a spot on the street. If that doesn't scare you off, you'll be treated to a very fun tavern. The dining room is not what you'd call large, so expect some noise on weekend nights. We were shown to the last open table on this Saturday night by a very nice server. My wife started with a Public House Winter Amber Lager, which she really liked. I went a bit darker, with a Public House Darkness. It too was outstanding. It was quite smooth, and the chocolate came through. As an appetizer we had the Candied Bacon. This was basically thick cut slabs of bacon with a smoky maple syrup glaze. Decent, but kind of heavy. For dinner, my wife had muscles. She reported it to be good, standard muscles in a garlic broth. I had salmon with mashed potatoes and fried Brussel Sprouts. The salmon was very good, only the Brussel Sprouts had quite a number of loose leaves, and not just whole Sprouts. The service was extraordinary, and the dining room, though a bit tight, was really fun with a number of very interesting light fixtures. Definately a place we'd go back to again, especially to sample more of their beer.“

Commonwealth Brewing Co FFX Brewery • $

“The Marvolo and the Marvoloso stouts are great... but they are gone. The Irish style sweet stout is pretty good, though. There are plenty of IPAs which IPA drinkers seem to really enjoy as well. I wish they allowed customization of their pizzas.. a fennel sausage and pepperoni would be awesome. They would really benefit from an acoustic study of the space. The design of the vintage concrete ceiling creates a massive amount of resonance which makes it easy to hear everything everywhere all at once. Super difficult for folks with any audio processing disorder.“

Aslin Beer Company - Herndon Brewery • $$

“Haven't been to Aslin in 7-8 years and they've come crazy far since they were running out of a garage door in a business park! Didn't get to try their coffee or food this time but it looked awesome. The staff was fantastic and helpful; answering all the questions we had and giving recommendations. I really want to try their pizza next month eventually. It's expensive, but pretty huge. The taproom is huge and operates as a coffee shop the whole day. Really relaxed diner vibe like a neighborhood pizza joint in a shopping center. Just a bougie version?Had their pumpkin milk stout and it's one of the better pumpkin beers I've ever had. Not chemical at all. Took their solid flagship milk stout and gave it a nice backend of pumpkin. The squash gave it even more of a silky mouthfeel. 9/10I'm a sucker for barleywine and theirs is amazing. My only regret is that I don't live around here so can't get their bottles more regularly. Not too sweet, not astringent, perfectly balanced with vanilla and nutmeg. 11/10Hopefully I'll visit NoVa again here soon and get to grab a bottle.“
