“Yesterday was my first time at this brewery and I must say the vibes were on point. Most breweries I don’t feel welcome but old 690 staff and customers were very welcoming. I enjoy meeting with the customers and their families. The food was delicious and cooked to perfection. They great live music, the beers are top notch. Their merch is fire and a must buy….. period!!!! They also have an open field and play area for the kids to play and run around. You will NOT be disappointed coming to this brewery. My bartender had nothing but good vibes, just down to earth. Belly Love Brewing Company Brewery • $$
725 E Main St, Purcellville

“I love this place because the owners and managers are very involved and are friendly, approachable, and involved in the local community. I appreciate the cider selection as most local breweries overlook offering solid options for GF clients that don't taste like grape juice. The cider selections of Henway and Corcoran are excellent and highlight some of the better local cideries in Virginia. They offer a really good, well-rounded variety of beers - which means if you're in a group there is something for everyone.I would absolutely recommend Belly Love to anyone. They also have an incredible trivia night on Thursdays. Make sure to come early or you may not get a seat- it's that popular! If you're into collecting Brewery t-shirts, they have some amazing graphic art designs you'll want to add to your collection.“

Notaviva Farm Brewery & Winery Brewery • $$
13274 Sagle Rd, Purcellville

“Overall the experience was okay. The location is a little bit off the beaten path but the view is absolutely amazing and makes up for it.I had a cider and wine tasting flight and my husband had the beer flight. The ciders were sweet and crisp and the wine was as expected. The beer was a bit flat and underwhelming but acceptable for the price. The weirdest part was the surplus of signs at the door....signs everywhere ?. We walked in the front door just to be redirect to the right to order at the desk located next to a side door. The flow is weird and off putting.I think some updated games and streamlining of the dated decor could go a long way to make the place a little more inviting.“

“Awesome view, great selection of IPAs and fresh and great food. In love with this place. We rode there on a bike on our way to Harper's Ferry, but thinking about going there again in the car next time. They also had live music. They had everything for a perfect outing.“

Flying Ace Farm Brewery •
40950 Flying Ace Ln, Lovettsville - 12 miles

“My wife and I visited Flying Ace Farm during a day trip to western Virginia. We both love a good bbq and were excited to check this place out after seeing all the positive reviews. The hype is warranted. We picked the brisket and ribs as our entrees, and mac & cheese and mushrooms for our sides. The brisket and ribs were incredibly tender and juicy. The bbq sauce on the ribs was delicious and the perfect amount to properly compliment the meat. Mac and cheese was solid and so were the mushrooms. Since they make their own bourbon and rum, I got an old fashioned which was a bit on the strong side but very tasty, and my wife got a pineapple mojito that was excellent. We didn't have enough time to do their tastings. But having tried their old fashioned, we decided to snatch up a bottle of their blended bourbon. The premises are your typical, beautiful Virginia farmland. The folks servicing the place were very kind and knowledgeable about their products. Great experience all around!“

Dirt Farm Brewing Brewery • $$
18701 Foggy Bottom Rd, Bluemont - 7 miles

“We stopped in here early afternoon on a Saturday after running a 10k across the road at Great Country Farms. Just a quick beer but the location is beautiful. It was a bit cold so we sat inside but the patio would be a great place to sit on a nice night. Ther was a food trailer out front but they might also have a kitchen because the trailer looked closed but we saw some people getting food. I had the tart cherry beer and it was very good. Parking is a stone lot. Bartenders were friendly.“

Harvest Gap Brewery Brewery • $$
15485 Purcellville Rd, Hillsboro - 3.7 miles

“I don’t make a habit of reviewing breweries because people experience them differently, but felt compelled with this one. Harvest Gap Brewery has consistently good beer on tap - recommend Heavy D for the sour lovers and the toasted lager for the stout lovers (not an IPA drinker, so can’t provide a recommendation there). Also, don’t be fooled by the seemingly small gathering space when you first walk through the front door - there is a large beer hall just past the bar & bathrooms, with an additional overflow gathering space just past that. The outdoor space is expansive, offering fire pits, picnic tables, and plenty of running around space for kids. Lastly, the mountain views, especially in the early evening, are gorgeous! Highly recommend this great LC brewery!“

“Really awesome brewery farm. The place is huge with plenty of room to chill with friends. They are equipped with exterior domes to enjoy the outdoors even when the sun is not shining. We slept in our camper in the parking lot, taking care to pick up after us and above all, we tried their sour beer which was really delicious! The coolest thing is that the company is full dog friendly!!!“
