“Below is part of the review written by our guests after our tour-visit to Wheatland Spring Brewery:
“Our second day focused on history and craft beer. Once again, we had personal, curated experiences, but the highlight was Wheatland Spring Farm + Brewery. If you love craft beer, this place is truly unique. They produce estate beers — meaning 100% of the ingredients are grown on the farm, including yeast collected from their fields. The beers were outstanding and unlike anything we’ve had before. Carlos arranged a private tasting in their loft above the brewing barn. Their barrel‑aged stout was the best I’ve ever had”.

Our guests had an absolutely wonderful experience, and from the moment we arrived, everyone felt genuinely welcomed and exceptionally cared for.
Please extend our gratitude to the entire team, especially to Joey who took care of us. His tremendous hospitality, kindness, and attention to detail created a very emotional & meaningful experience.
I truly can’t thank you all enough for helping make the day so memorable.

“Old 690 is definitely hard to find, but most definitely harder to leave! Great everything! Beer, food, friendly staff, ambiance, easy going atmosphere, you name it! We don't get there often enough since we live 90 minutes away but everyone go! You'll be glad you did. Looking forward to Wicked Old Lady Pumpkin Beer like we do every fall!“
“We discovered Barnhouse Brewery through Harvest Hosts while looking for a place to stay halfway between DC and Harpers Ferry after spending a beautiful day viewing the cherry blossoms. What a great find!
This family-owned and operated brewery truly stands out. The owners are incredibly friendly and welcoming, making the whole experience even better. The beer selection is excellent—especially if you enjoy dark beers—but they also offer great German styles and IPAs, so there’s something for everyone.
The setting is absolutely beautiful, surrounded by peaceful countryside that makes it a perfect spot to relax and unwind.
We will definitely be making a trip back soon!“
“Great hard apple cider! Great pretzel’s!“
“Nice place to grab a beer after work. Good environment, friendly staff, good beer and snacks!“
“Had the great fortune of trying this Hazy IPA before meeting the owner Kelsey Grammer and watching him pull beer for a few hours. This beer is outstanding! it doesn't have that hoppy bite and has a refreshing citrus finish. Put simply? it's delicious. Looking forward to more amazing beers coming!!“
“Lauren is the absolute Best!!! Kind, down to earth, and knowledgeable. Get in her line if you can!“
“Cora gives the Zipline Canopy Tour 5 stars (specifically the guides for the 9:40 tour today 6/20). They were kind, funny, and helpful! Cora says thank you got a great time and making sure they stayed safe! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“
“Great Variations of beer. IPA but also German Hefeweizen and Pilsener.Very nice service there and I was meeting the brewer at the bar. He was sitting next to me enjoying a Feierabendbier and was very friendly as well. Thank you so much for the tasty beer, good talk and interesting info!!!“
“Visited this winery with some friends the other week. Wine flightes were pre selected but you can still get a taste of any wine and beer!
Our bartender Arman was very friendly and helped guide us on the best wines to pair with our food. He also gave us a great breakdown on all the beers on draught and gave us amazing food recs (get the carpenters flatbread)!
Views are amazing, bar staff are friendly, and the atmosphere was very cozy. Will be coming back!!“
“Vanish truly is one of my fav breweries in this area. I will drive/ride specifically to enjoy the views, the brews, and everything this place has to offer. The staff is always top notch. The selection of beer is expansive— having even some sour options for drinkers like me with a sweet tooth. They also offer wine and a lot of food options. If you go on the weekends- they have a shop calls Nollypop that’s open and it’s great. Came for the Pink Ribbon release benefiting a local charity— this continues to show me this places dedication to the local community and its causes. Keep it up, Vanish.“

“Fun for families! The playground was good, they also sell ice cream and have a few coin machines with M&Ms and other small candies and toys. We enjoyed the beer and food. I will note that it gets very hot and buggy. It's also a little small compared to other breweries in the area, which is nice if you don't want to walk too far for your drinks, but it means a little less space to spread out. The animals are cute but be prepared for a strong smell on hot days haha!“
