“The food is phenomenal. I tried it a month ago and have been hooked ever since. The quesadillas, burritos, tacos, and tortas are packed with your choice of meat, cheese,, and veggies. When I say you will be thoroughly satisfied, I'm not joking. The portions are huge and well worth the money. The customer service is top notch. The ladies are so sweet and kind. I was having a really rough day the last time I stopped by and they really made me feel a million times better. Thank you Ladies ?

Kid-friendliness: It's a walk up Food truck...kids can be kids with room to play. But be mindful that it's located in a parking lot. Hence there are cars parked, coming, and going.”

“Fast, friendly service!!! I had a large order so I really liked that they gave me a sturdy box to take it home in! (More eco friendly as well!!) All my food arrived safely! I knew it was going to be good just walking into the store as it smelled amazing and I was not disappointed!!! The sweet tea was delicious as well!!!”

“we came here for lunch and food was so cold the cheese on our beans wasn't melted everything was pretty gross. not sure where the 4.3 star rating comes from but it's very nasty. wasted $40 plus there were bugs. just a nasty place all together. definitely don't recommend this place at all.”

“Stopped by this location during a day trip. The sandwich artists (one had brown hair and a really cool key necklace and the other had bright red and black hair) were both super friendly and loaded up our subs exactly to our liking! My boyfriend and I are both thoroughly impressed by the food quality and exceptional service at this location.”

“This was the nastiest Hardees I have ever been in. Had I looked around first I would have never ordered. The employees were rude, there was food and trash all over the floor where they prep. Trash and spilled drinks all over the condiment area, over flowing trash cans, filthy floor, and windows and doors. Now to the employees, one cashier stood with her back to the food holding station, which had unwrapped biscuits, and her hair has hanging on the biscuits. No one was wearing a hair net. They barely spoke to the customers. Ok, now the food. we ordered 2 Famous star burgers and an order of fries. The fries were freshly cooked so I can't t rip them, But the burgers!!! The buns were stale, they each had so much mayonnaise and pickles on them that they slide apart. the meat was cold; they were just gross. unfortunaley, we got our food to go and drove about 3 miles before we stopped and ate. We should have taken it all back. Never ever will I eat at that nasty place again. The health inspector needs to go there and give them code violations. And, management should be fired for allowing the establishment to be run that way!!!! ZERO STARS!!!!!!”

“Such a cozy place! We could spend hours there hanging by their fire place drinking the very delicious wine. My family did all their flights and a tasting. There was not a single wine that we didn’t love. They have a sweet black cat that hangs around like he’s one of the family. Very accommodating and knowledgeable staff. Will definitely be going back! Beautiful outdoors!”

“We finally made it to Nicks I don’t know what took us this long to go?! But, so glad we made it there tonight!! Our waitress Ashley is such a sweetheart and yes, she calls everyone sweetheart!! The food was home cooking! I felt like I was at home!! I got the fried oyster dinner and my hubby got the hamburger steak with gravy! And we were told they have the best homemade pies so we took a chocolate meringue and a buttermilk pecan to go for a late night snack!! So, if your wondering where to go to eat for a great price and country flair please go to Nicks where they treat you like family!!”

“We ran into this little slice of heaven while transporting kids to meet in Toano.. (they live 2hrs from one another) Love me some smoked food. The hush puppies!! Just the best hush puppies! The homeaid sausage, the burgers, the bbq was all excellent! I will definitely be back and I have told my friends about this little slice of heaven. 🍻”

“As a small business owner myself, I don't get out much, so when I do, this is one of the places that I like to visit. They make you feel welcome, and their beers are delicious. My son loves their soft pretzels! They have a great indoor space for trivia (our favorite) and other entertainment, as well as a welcoming country setting outdoors. We've been back several times, and will continue to visit and tell others about it!”

“Over 25 years I have stopped here countless times for the crab muffins. Over time they’ve pretty much stripped it down to just that…each visit, fewer and fewer immediate inventoried items. I bet they sell seafood in bulk but really not sure. I believe last time they had some bait and tackle up front. This time it’s a cooler with drinks and a tiny warmer with three crab muffins and a shelf with a napkin dispenser. There is a part of me that admires that they’ve been able to boil this place down like a beautiful reduction. Get the crab muffins around lunch. By 3pm they’re well past their prime. No matter….I will stop here until I can’t anymore.”

“I live in a nearby neighborhood and I stopped going there because of the uncourteous staff and did not care about the customers plus it was not very clean but I visited toano subway this Sunday and to my surprise the staff was the best that has ever worked there. “The place inside was very nice and clean, when I had entered, it wasn't too busy in there. I had used the self-ordering machine; very easy to use. We didn't have to wait that long to receive our food, which is nice. The food itself, the burger was a little over-done, I had asked for lettuce and didn't get any though. It was a very nice McDonald's though.

Parking: The location of parking is right around the building.

Kid-friendliness: It is very kid-friendly, like most McDonald's should be.
