“Review is for the new PUPATELLA off Slater's Lane in Alexandria VA. It's in my neighborhood so we walked. Noticed limited # spot parking lot, minimal if any street parking. Went on opening day around 1145 am; got seated right away but servers were largely absent throughout stay. Took ~10 min for someone to show up to take our drink order and food order. Seasonal specials on the menu but not actually available to order yet. Went with soft drinks, margarita pizza, and brussels sprouts app. Food was fabulous and served quickly. No server appeared to check on us or to refill drinks; I believe the marketing manager ended up checking on us and helped out. Also no server to bring bill so we closed the tab at their point of sale system. Decor is plain; hopefully they will add some art to the walls at some point. Two unisex bathrooms were clean. Very narrow pathway to get to them past the indoor seating and the bar seating. Large folks and wheelchairs will struggle to navigate to the bathrooms. The usable space inside the narrow building is limited so not sure if this is a fixable issue. Patio seating is a mix of low tables and high tables/chairs, assortment of non-adjustable small umbrellas to block sun, looked like they could be moved around. Clearly dog-friendly, I saw at least three water bowls in use or available to use. Saw a lot of vehicle traffic on Slater's, but did not hear the traffic on Slater's or the GW parkway. Most tables inside and out were occupied; the music over the speakers and the ambient patron noise was loud enough to drown out traffic. There is an access road and line of trees between the restaurant and GW parkway which helps to minimize the traffic view. Food was worth another visit, though you should give them time to upskill their servers and perhaps hire more servers. Given the parking issue and the limited seating inside and out, I suspect this location is more suited for walking locals and carry-out than travelling diners. This location isn't really suited to be a destination dining experience.“

Half price wine on Thursday’s, a place that employs our high school kids and gives back to the community. Food is great, alcohol is cheap and the community gets to come together. I love this place 🩷“

“As a critic who professionally rates places I came here to relax after a long day. The atmosphere is very relaxing inside the building and my whole experience was very easy going. I had talked to a employee named “David” over the phone and he had made the process of ordering very easy. When I asked for specials he informed me of them right away.

When I came in he greeted me and simply asked me to sign a receipt. Once I did that he brought me my food and it was done at that. The food was phenomenal and I loved their pizza. I can’t wait to return to try more. Thank you Paisanos.“

“TL;DR: good pizza and fast service

We have been to the one in Tyson's locations,, but we finally got a chance to try this location. There is plenty of indoor and outdoor season, with a full bars with TVs as well. There are two distinct lines, one for whole pies and one for by the slice. They also have a handful of combos which is the way we went.

We got the pepperoni special (5/5) which was our favorite. The sausage and pepper (3/5) was solid but nothing special. Overall, the dough/crust was a perfect balance of crunch, chew, and substance.

“I went here yesterday with a friend. He got a small supreme pizza and added black olives. I got a small extra cheese with fresh garlic. The food was freaking spectacular. Honest to goodness. Go there. Right now. Every single thing is currently 20% off. They also do delivery. You don’t have to use DoorDash or anything like that.

“This restaurant is definitely the best-kept secret in Woodbridge! We came once, and have never stopped coming. I came with a friend, and returned with my sons, and came back with my niece. I have eaten many South Asian cuisines, and none compares to this one. I can eat here all week and come back for the weekend. It's hard to decide on the best-tasting food here. The Rice Briyani is the best I've ever had anywhere. The lamb curry is so yummy! The chic peas are unbelievable delicious - melts in your mouth, we had to order extra to go after eating in! If you try the crab balls, you won't stop eating it. And the somosas - wow! Not to talk about the hot-fresh and fluffy naan! The menu is vast, and it doesn't matter what you order, it's finger-licking delicious. Plus the price is great, and the service wonderful! “I was at the paisonos in Vienna,VA couple on Sunday Sept 11th and the lady who works the front think her name is Allison she is very respectful and polite. “This is one of my favorite pizza places in the area. The pizza does have less sauce as noted on other reviews. This actually helps me since I tend to get heartburn from pizza sauce. The bread and cheese that they use here is top notch and I actually feel like the sauce would drown out some of that flavor. Also, the steak and cheese is great!“
