“Family and I have been to this restaurant a few times, and food is always great. I love the base sauce, and the waffles are awesome. The good sauce is so good! Also the music playing was good, I was having retro memories. Staff is friendly and attentive. Bring a jacket, AC is on. My favorite are the fries, with the chicken sandwich. We shall return soon. On a separate note, thatnks for clearing the way, after the snow storm. Stay safe.“

But, I was SO disappointed in the size of halloumi. $9 for 5 TINY AND THIN slices of halloumi and a 1/2 cup of chili jam sauce. The halloumi side dish was bigger than my "shareable." Feel like someone shorted my order. 😑“

“Food was good but they cheap with sauce. You bought 1 order of 1/2chicken w/2sides you get the same amount of sauce for 4 orders of 1/2 chicken. This is in Bowie Md location. I guess I am not coming back there again.“

“The chicken is flavorful with the perfect crunch! I stopped by for the second time today and got the soy garlic boneless wings. I also tried out one of their rice bowls and I was surprised by how much I was given! Definitely worth the price.“

Believe me really good portions and it is very cheap, like you see in the pic all of that was $25 enough for 4 costumers. Highly recommend ?

The place is very simple, nothing elegant, but the flavor makes you forget about the rest.

The portions are undoubtedly huge and the price is very cheap for everything they have.
The flavor is very rich and the cassava is just right.

“Lately I have been on a Popeyes binge a few times a week. I love popeyes nuggets. I drove by and saw that KFC now has nuggets. So I orders 8 for $4.99. Then I saw the new Double Down chicken sandwich. It has no bread. So I ordered it. No sides. The lady in drive thru was nice. I asked what type of suace they had. She listed them. Then I said I wanted the Buffalo. After leaving and opening my bag I noticed she gave me Honey Mustard and KFC Suace. So that really let me down. As for the nuggets. On scale 1 to 10. I give them a 2. They were tiny. And soggy. Popeyes are an 11. They are big and crispy. Now onto the double down. I give it a 9 out if 10. It was very good. Very filling and didn't make me sleepy.“

“Went cause I saw a TV ad for $7. Meals. Since fast food can easily be twice as much for one person I decided to try the 3 strips meal which includes a drink. I got Mac and cheese instead of the mashed potatoes it comes with. That was a 50¢ upcharge. But the meal was good and I'll be back as long as they have this deal. I ate in it seems their business is mostly drive thru since there never seems to be any one eating in.“

“We had a late dinner tonight (Saturday). I enjoyed my Cobb Salad so much that I forgot my purse in the restaurant when we left. As soon as we arrived home almost 20 miles away, I realized my purse was missing and it was already 9:30 PM which meant the restaurant would be closing in half an hour. My husband jumped in the car and headed back while I tried calling the restaurant. After about 4 attempts calling I finally got through and was informed my purse had been found and I could pick it up the same night. My husband got there about 2 minutes before 10 PM and was handed my purse with all its contents intact. I am so impressed with the honesty and caring manner in which this situation was handled. “They're fried chicken is delicious. Notice the smooth batter dipped skin layer ..... which is delicious btw. I usually don't like eating the skin layering on fried chicken but there's is hard to resist. Other fried chicken places tend to have a globby coating which is often too greasy. Occasionally you can find a Popeye's, Publix, Bojangles or another place that does it right but most can't compare to how these chicken thighs taste. Underneath that skin layer is steaming, moist and flavorful meat. I prefer the thigh which are a nice size. The breasts are delicious as well. All the locations I've been to in Northern Virginia and Laurel Md have been excellent. Years ago they offered Black Beans and White Rice which I preferred over the red beans that are now offered. I never order them.... instead I get the sweet plantains. This location prepares the fried sweet plantains perfectly.....also delicious. The roll that comes with the plate is basic and nothing to rave about. The menu has a lot of options such as French fries and grilled chicken to please those wanting different options. Also available are some nice ethnic drinks and desserts from the area of the world the restaurant is themed after. ( I believe Guatemala) They have a very nice and pleasant staff. Both the eating space and restrooms are very clean.

A couple Pollo Campero locations opened up in the Orlando Fl area where I live. I was very disappointed when I went there and had expectations of what I was used to getting and the locations up north. I told a staff member at this location being surveyed in Woodbridge Va. that they needed to go to the Orlando locations and teach them how to make Pollo Campero chicken right.“
