Looking for charcoal chicken -hopefully Peruvian style- I found Don Alberto's. They offer variety of Central American food, so I wasn't expecting that the chicken were as delicious as the Peruvian charcoal chicken. It was not, it's a different kind of flavor, but still a good one. It was not as juicy as I'm used to. The french fries and the yuca were fine, although nothing especial.Prices are convenient, so I would go back, but not my first place to go for juicy charcoal chicken.
This place is tucked off in a random shopping center but don't be deceived by the looks. This place is ALWAYS packing with flavor! The chicken is so juicy and the plantains are PERFECT! The yuca is also amazing here. Anytime I come here I'm never disappointed! Great portion sizes and never lacking in flavor.

I ordered the steak and cheese, minus the cheese and no extra salt...lightly toasted bread. It was perfection! Yum- yum! Loved that they were perfectly friendly and not annoyed at my pickiness.
