“A local young man made my day and I felt I needed to tell everyone about him. The past freezing cold week I dropped into Safeway @5:30 PM at Merchant Plaza to get some supplies. Upon leaving I observed another driver struggling to get his truck started. I got distracted and hurried to put my groceries in the car and return the cart so I could help the dad get his truck started. What I didn’t realize is that I left my wallet in the cart and worse did not realize it until 11:30 at night. Safeway was closed and would not open until 6:00 AM. We put all the credit cards on hold and was not happy about having to replace multiple IDs, and likely lost $300.00. The next morning I went thru the garbage cans thinking the worst and when the store opened checked the customer Service - would have to wait until 10:00 AM. Promptly called and discovered that they had my wallet, it had been returned by one of the Safeway employees - Alex! It took another week before I could meet Alex and personally thank him and give him a reward. Several visits to the store working with the manager Robert learning about Alex and discussing what a great deed this young man did. I am truly grateful for the young people Safeway hires and for the ethics and morals of this amazing young man Alex. Alex was a little bit shy, but understood just what I felt about his actions and how much I appreciated his kindness. I rewarded Alex with some cash…. Really feel great about our neighborhood Safeway and its employees!“
“This location was newly innovated just a month ago, and it seem they change the whole staff team. Before complaining about our last experience, i love the new look of the store as well as the new team with great service and drinks. Yesterday night we visited at 8:30pm, a barista guy took our orders nicely with 5 drinks, 2 of them are special instructions of 2 venti matcha lattes 10 scoops matcha powders no foam. However, the person made our drinks was a different girl, she messed up the drinks. I adjust the recipe because I want it stronger taste and especially to avoid barista filling up the cup with quarter of it already foam (this happen often in many different locations). The girl brought the drinks out, quarter of 2 cups were foam, the color were very light green, but we just ask her about the foam. Didn’t know if our question make her uncomfortable or not because her response was pretty rude. She made excuse that latte shaking up should have foam, of course we know that, but she didn’t know she doesn’t have to put it in the cup :D. Then we didn’t ask to remake, we just asked her to add more milk or simply fill the gap with ice. I guess she felt offensive or something so she show attitude on her face then walk away and told the guy to remake it. The total 5 drinks we ordered, 2 of them the guy remade it perfectly , the rest were plain, coffees were water down, other grande matcha were unflavored. We have had many bad drinks in Starbucks, usually we just silently accept it and call it a bad luck day, but we rather have bad drink than terrible attitude. Quote from the barista girl, the guy tryna give her advice and she answered “I won’t get fired”.“
“Z the person at the drivethru window in the mornings with long black hair named Z… is soooo enthusiastic in the morning!!! When I go to Starbucks I’m always treated with a smile. It’s absolutely heart warming and gets my morning going:)He deserves a raise. anywhere else in Woodbridge others are tired and rude in the mornings but not Z!“
“Enjoyed a mother daughter coffee while dress shopping. Perfectly convenient outside of Lacoste and Kate Spade. I ordered a double espresso and my daughter ordered a seasonal latte. Service was a little slow, but I think there was training going on. Cheers!“
“i come here every so often to do homework, i’ve never had any mistakes on my drinks at this location which is great (nondairy) and the staff is pretty friendly. someone’s always welcoming folks in which seems like a small detail but it definitely helps ppl feel comfy and at least seen! other locations lack that and pretend customers just aren’t there and basically avoid any eye contact which i def understand it gets busy but a simple greeting does go a very long way as i’ve noticed at this location :)“
“Look- it is a Starbucks. The drinks are the same in the States as any other Starbucks in the States. You can get a drink you like or try something new, but it is still overpriced and you could get something better and cheaper at a place that wasn’t a chain.“

I called to get a different drink then what i ordered, and she told me it was already made but she’ll make what i called for.
