I brought a bunch of students to this fine establishment on Monday evening and we were served by Theresa, who can banter with the best! She took excellent care of us. The apple pie with cheddar and the maple cream pie were legendary! All of the food was excellent, but the chicken parm was exceptional. Thank you, Wayside, for an uplifting evening and being stalwart in central Vermont!

They NEVER answer the phone for takeout. Why offer it if you’re never going to answer the phone.

They have a bar with Vermont brands, serve Cabot butter and offer real Vt maple syrup. The staff and kitchen are knowledgeable and accommodating. It’s inexpensive and awesome.
