“My wife and I stumbled along going to different pubs in Chittenden county VT. and found an absolute GEM of a place in Essex Jct., VT. That joint is known as Park Place , Best wings ever, Best Chili ever and other amazing food , all at reasonable prices. An amazing staff, Chelsea, Mike, Gage, Heather ,Alyssa ,Jason . Travis It reminds me and my wife of the show “Cheers” All the patrons are extremely friendly. To us, it’s like part of our family.. If you want an absolutely great “eating out “experience, and somewhere you can be yourself, come to Park Place, Again, we’ve tried many over joints but this place, by far , is the best place ever…. Nan & Dave. PS tellthe staff that we sent ya.“

“We love the Essex and come here every time we travel to VT. The staff are responsive and friendly, the rooms are clean, cozy, and comfy. The one warning we would give is to say that the price that you book for is nowhere near what you get charged for at checkout. There are extra add on charges on the bill that “tax” your imagination. Just be sure to ask up front.“

“We were a party of 6. High table near the bar. A Saturday night. We had a great time and were never rushed.
Our food was good and quick. Our drinks were the same.
I had fish tacos, which were great! 3 came in the order. I ordered onion rings with them because I was expecting less than I got. I didn't need the onion rings.
We got there @ 5:30 and stayed for 3 hours. Again, I never felt rushed to exit the joint. Our server even said we could spend the night if we wanted. Rare for a busy place on a Saturday night.
Parking was limited behind the building. But, as I typed, we got there early, so no trouble finding parking.
I would go back.“
