“Best little restaurant in Vermont. Have been patronizing for many years. The Cobb salad is our favorite but everything is always excellent! Be sure to make a reservation.Dietary restrictions: No gluten free breads but happy to hold the bread.Wheelchair accessibility: No. 3 stairs to the door.“
“This is our newest haunt. Their food is just good and while the dining room is small, we are always treated well. It's a bit of a drive for us, but totally worth it. (And if you want a cheeseburger sub, just ask. It's not on the menu, but that won't stop them.)“
“So good! I just had the potroast grinder with swiss cheese and it's one of the best tasting sandwiches that I've ever eaten. I've lived in Underhill for 7 years and am shocked that I haven't experienced this sandwich yet. It was perfect after a long stressful day at work and put a huge smile on my face. This place has really stepped up since moving to it's newer building. One of our go to's now.“
“Fairfax is lucky to have such a great pizza place! Litle wonder it now has multiple branches around the state.Vegetarian options: They always have a few vegetarian options and you can always create your own from a variety of options including vegan cheese.Parking: Some parking in the back and on the side of the restaurant, but you may need to park on a side street during busiest times.“
“Since leaving the NYC/NJ area, I haven't had a really awesome "regular" (non-flatbread) pie until we got takeout from Rusty's at the start of the July 4th, 2023 long weekend (We've been in VT since 2012). Their crust is thicker than a flatbread, but definitely not heavy. It has a perfect chew and crispy bottom. They are generous with their cheese (and know how to cook a pie given that!). It was quality from tip to crust! We had plain cheese, a pepperoni pie, and their Buffalo chicken pie. All fantastic. I can't wait to break my diet again :)“
