“Dining here is an *experience*. Once you walk in the door, they transport you to a funky, nautical, accent-lit place. After ordering, the food arrives on time on a push cart with a very friendly waiter behind it. Make sure to save room for the best desert you will ever have. You basically have no choice but to order something from the multi-tiered desert cart. You'll see.“
“This is exactly the kind of hole-in-the-wall place that every diner should aspire to. Hearty menu, very fair prices, and real maple syrup for only a few bucks more. Gotta love anywhere that’ll give you $1.50 coffee with free refills and real milk to go in it. Worth the stop!“
“This is a great burger place! Go in grab a burger and drink. Don't forget to play a game of pool while you're at it. They have daily specials. Tonight's was a Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich that was delicious!!! The staff are all super friendly and the vibe is chill.“
“Great place, popped on over after a hike and it knocked my socks off. I come from NJ and everyplace I've been too will have some dumb sign that says "World's best pancakes" and let me tell you, they're never the worlds best pancakes. The Rail Trail not only had the best pancake I've ever had, it might be the best pancake in the world. Also the sausage was really good. It's hard to find a better breakfast. 5 stars and I'd give it 6 if I could.“
“Visiting Vermont for the first time this weekend, found this place and decided to give it a try. Best breakfast food i’ve ever had in my life. I’ve already come back twice. From the Hash-browns being the perfect crisp to the eggs melting in my mouth and the bun slightly toasted. Everything was wonderful and the servers were very friendly. 11/10 highly recommend“
“Small bar with great servers and food. Tap beers and drinks. Local place with friendly customers. We , 8 of us, came in, and 2 people moved down so we could all sit together. I like Miller Lite, but they don't have it on tap, so they let me try 1 before I ordered so I'd know if I wanted what they did have.Parking: I think there's a lot behind bar, but I'm not sure.Kid-friendliness: Not really. It's a bar.Wheelchair accessibility: I would say no.“
“I’m a local (literally right over the hill) and had breakfast here when we visited before we moved out this way…. And it was great!! I do need to ask to revisit the gravy recipe and go back to a sausage and smoother blend… Lately it’s been VERY strong with flour and very little flavor, not to mention made with ground beef more so than ground sausage. Bump your prices $1 and get back to the quality we have come to know from your wonderful restaurant. I have also noticed the portions have been suffering the effects of Shrink-flation lately as well. Let’s take the winter break and hit the reset button. We look forward to it!“
“I’ve been coming to this restaurant for 20 years. They have the best homemade food! I love the rustic atmosphere. Homemade bread, rolls, pizza dough. Every Saturday night they serve the best prime rib! Their pies are insane! Servings are enough for 2-3 people. Benson is a small town, The Wheel In. Is basically the reason to make Benson a destination. About 1 mile off Route 22A between Orwell and Fair Haven. If you’re ever driving though, it is worth the short detour!“
“This place is phenomenal. My family got super fast service on a packed Saturday night. We were in and out in under an hour! Large menu selection, great food, cooked right, reasonable prices and friendly staff. I'm looking forward to returning again.“
“The food and the service here at Champs Bar and Grill are exceptional. It's a little hole in the wall at the very back and of a local campground and if you didn't know it was there you would never see it. The staff is super friendly and very accommodating and the menu is super awesome with ever changing specials that the chef creates. In my opinion, a lot of them are a hit, but occasionally in my opinion, he has a miss, but all in all the food is fantastic. Don't go if you are expecting chandeliers and fine linens, the atmosphere is casual, but it is a very, very friendly place and a great place for friends and family... and the food is great.“
“We traveled to VT for a wedding. We asked around for a good breakfast joint. Birdseye did not disappoint. The waitress was super friendly and knowledgeable about the dishes. The food was delicious. The place was super cute. I had a Philly omelette that has cream cheese in it. Soooo good.Dietary restrictions: They did have some gluten free options.“
“I'm very happy to say the Blue Cat is back and it is fantastic. I went there with one other person and we each got two drinks, an app and an entre (one was a salad) and the total was like eighty bucks even. Fantastic food and the pricing was great.“
“We found this gem, while on a road trip with the kiddies. The kids were so impressed with their food, they wanted to personally compliment the chef! Our servers were attentive and patient with our little ones. And the sweet tea was top tier!! (Made in house)“
“My new local. Watch the hours. Amazing beers. Great kitchen with a limited daily menu. Fantastic service. I am biased because it is less than a mile from my new house. But this is a great brewery with wonderful people and amazing beer and food. Stop here if you are ever in Fair Haven. You will not be disappointed.“
