“The first thing you notice about Bambaz is how cozy the restaurant is. There are about 3-4 long tables inside and 2 small tables outside for couples. They also do take out I believe. It has a nice atmosphere and is very inviting. The menu is great. The service was top notch. If you are lucky, you might get an up close show with Brandon. He is one of the employees. He plays guitar quite well. It was a pleasure to watch him perform. Great vibes and food. AA+++“

“We tried The Gem tonight and we were not disappointed. Friendly service from start to finish. We chose wings as our appetizer and two draft beers! The wings were crisp on the outside and juicy on the inside. For our main course, we selected the smoked brisket with potato salad and baked beans as our sides. This was by far the best smoked brisket we have had. We ended the meal with the sticky toffee pudding and vanilla ice cream 😍. Head to The Gem for a great meal!“

“I was searching for a place to have lunch on top of the water, and found this gem. A golf course! Beautiful scenery. Food was great. Very fresh and some added flavors to make this spot a little different. The pretzel bits are great, with the maple mustard..yumm.I was also told the best view was from the 10th hole...it sure was breathtaking. I would go eat there again for lunch and for a stroll.“

We were walking distance to the wonderful Lake George village. Our room was comfortable, clean and great AC. “Beautiful building, but space is tight for some tables. The food is good… I ordered the seafood special and my wife ordered the Filet…. Our only problem was that the whole dining experience was very rushed. I can’t remember the last time I was in and out of a restaurant under an hour and spend this much per person. Hopefully they will figure that out, it needs to be an experience and not a revolving door!“

“You dine at the Boardwalk for the AMAZING views of the lake, as it's perfectly situated in the heart of the village to see the Lac du and Mohican pass by. The service is always super quick and friendly. As for the food, it's mostly fried bar food. Chicken tenders are frozen out of box and so are the fries. I am not sure why cooks today don't want to serve hand cut fries. Lazy? I like the fried fish, but I doubt it's fresh fish and likely frozen too. Let's just say its location and views of the lake are what keep this place in business. That's why I go there when I am visiting the area. You don't really go here for the food and the culinary experience. Regardless, I will keep going there on sunny afternoons for lunch to take in some fresh Adirondack air off the lake and great views.“

Managers Marie & Renee took great care of us and our sever Taylor was doll the bartenders were Very accommodating! The outside view with a fire pit topped it all off had the best time. “ADK nachos were super good!! My husband got the steak and loved it. I did half a chicken with homemade bbq sauce, sweet potato fries and Mac n cheese. Chicken and fries were soooo good. I found the Mac n cheese to be bland but I think that’s the style if you were to pile on something bbq flavored then it would have been better. On its own it wasn’t my taste but everything else was very good. Can’t wait to go back next trip to Lake George!“

“We were to meet my son & family in Lake George to celebrate their anniversary Sat 6/24/23. He told us to meet them a the East Cove Restaurant at 5:30pm. They're not there, we go to the bar as we have in the past. Get a drink & ask about the reservation - there is none. We get a phone msg, they told us the told us the wrong restaurant, errrr!. They're at George's which is only 100 yds up the road. "You're killin' me Smalls." After that hiccup everything at George's was excellent. This is a prime rib, steak, & seafood restaurant. Our waitperson, Richard T was pleasant, helpful, & efficient. Two Fiddlehead IPA ($8ea) and two Banfi pinot grigios ($11ea) during our meal. My bride had broiled haddock w/ a side of cauliflower ($28+$4) which was almost double the portion generally served in restaurants. I had the pork shank osso bucco w/ mashed potatoes ($31) and their very popular salad bar. A large & tender shank w/ a very good demi-glace. Very nice offering excellently prepared & served. "Our steaks and ribs are hand cut and house seasoned Entrees Include choice of salad bar or soup du jour / clam chowder and choice of starch" - George's. Also had the stuffed mushroom appetizer ($12) and a basket of garlic bread w/ pesto (chef's compliment). Also two petit prime rib dinners ($35ea) & a very large "Kids" spaghetti & meatballs ($15) George's offers excellent food & service. Note: And not just b/c my son is friends with the chef, Nick DeJesus. A great dinner as we have come to expect from the staff at George's. Open Thu-Mon 4-9pm. plenty of parking. “Duffy‘s Pub Just happened to be the first place we came across to grab a bite to eat when we first got to Lake George Village. The food was OK. Nothing great. I had a sandwich which was similar to a Reuben, but with turkey and no sauerkraut. I had to have the waitress bring over extra dressing since it was pretty dry. My daughter had a wrap which she said was good. We had a nice view sitting on the outside portion that has a roof over your head with Big open windows. We both thought the drinks were watered down. Since neither of us seem to feel anything after them. It was a little pricey for what we ordered. The waitress was very good and attentive. Their bathroom seems to need some tending to.“

The food was good and typical of what you would expect from a restaraunt geared towards tourists downtown. 4 meals, a few mugs of Bear Wizz( locally brewed root beer) and a few pints later and we were out the door for about $100. Overall it was a good experience and we will return the next time we are in Lake George.“
