“My companion and I had dinner at Placid Pines earlier this week. I ordered the Reuben Grill sandwich and he had the Open-Faced Hot Roast Beef sandwich. Both were excellent. The corned beef in my Reuben was very lean and delicious, as was his roast beef. We both had the pumpkin crunch cheesecake for dessert, which was also very good. For a small pub like Placid Pines to serve such delicious food is a testament to their chef and kitchen staff.“

“The first thing you notice about Bambaz is how cozy the restaurant is. There are about 3-4 long tables inside and 2 small tables outside for couples. They also do take out I believe. It has a nice atmosphere and is very inviting. The menu is great. The service was top notch. If you are lucky, you might get an up close show with Brandon. He is one of the employees. He plays guitar quite well. It was a pleasure to watch him perform. Great vibes and food. AA+++“

We were not disappointed with anything we ordered. Best risotto I've ever had. Our bartender was very attentive, friendly and made great drinks. “Went to our 1st Super Bowl Party at the Lakeside Lounge @ The Fort William Henry It was amazing ! The room was set up perfect the food was amazing ! Managers Marie & Renee took great care of us and our sever Taylor was doll the bartenders were Very accommodating! The outside view with a fire pit topped it all off had the best time. “I ordered 2 chef salads for take out. I also ordered extra salad dressings. When I picked my order up the girl behind the counter was cheerful and so friendly. She showed me everything in the bag .I also received 2 salad dressings Extra and a fresh loaf of delicious bread . The salads were huge and absolutely the best we have had . “ADK nachos were super good!! My husband got the steak and loved it. I did half a chicken with homemade bbq sauce, sweet potato fries and Mac n cheese. Chicken and fries were soooo good. I found the Mac n cheese to be bland but I think that’s the style if you were to pile on something bbq flavored then it would have been better. On its own it wasn’t my taste but everything else was very good. Can’t wait to go back next trip to Lake George!“

“Cute place to stop and have a beverage and wait for the steamboats . Wonderful view of the lake . Only thing is the post is misleading saying “Pet Policy: Located right on Beach Road, their shady, grassy lawn with picnic tables and elevated deck is fully open to furry children. They provide ice water bowls, toys, dog treats, and even puppy-safe ice cream”, none of this is true and dogs aren’t allowed on the deck even if they are leashed . We weren’t offered toys or treats or ice cream either LOL“
