“This place is a hidden gem. The food is all made from scratch and you just can’t believe how delicious everything is! From the sandwiches, to the soups, Cole slaw, Mac salad, etc. it reminded me of the best home cooked meals I’ve ever had. The difference here is that the ingredients and flavors of each dish are good quality and meticulously prepared - not just thrown together. A grilled cheese looks, tastes and feels like a work of art. The experience is like a little respite from the fast paced world - good food in a little spot off the beaten path. We drove up from Clifton Park and came here for lunch. Highly recommend to take a morning drive for breakfast or lunch - it’s a wonderful little place. To the chef/staff - don’t change a thing!!!!“
“Tom and I love to go out to breakfast. We have been to many local dinners , from Bennington VT as far as Granville NY. Can definitely say that Country Gals Cafe is the best food , prices , service and atmosphere . They also can provide me with a vegetable side@ breakfast. Most places can't. The Best; hands down.My only wish is that they had more seating and longer hours on Sun am. ?. & of course , I keep trying to convince them they should do dinners also. ?We love you at Country Gals. “Drive by this place daily…First time ordering, it was late and I think they were about to close so only their late night menu is available after 9pm but that’s okay, they thankfully took my order still!! We got the bar pizza and fried Oreos whoever was cooking even ran some ice cream out to my husband to go with our Oreos and he was right it was the perfect combination! So we really appreciated that, and the bar pizza was really good we liked the sauce and the crust had great flavor overall everything was delicious, will definitely be going back to try their regular menu!“
“We ordered lunch today - buffalo chicken sandwich (very good!!) and an omelet made to order (also very good!!) The buffalo chicken sandwich was crispy, not over sauced and the condiments were served on the side (THANK YOU!) The omelet was HUGE and perfectly cooked and they have Gluten Free toast, yay! Very happy with our order and will definitely be back soon. :)“

“This was our second visit to this wonderful restaurant. We loved our dinner and will return! The atmosphere was relaxed and welcoming and the decor is charming. The salads were excellent, the split pea soup was fantastic. We both had the pork, which was accompanied by delicious broccoli and potatoes. “My husband and I went for the fish and we were not disappointed. The fish was tender and cooked to perfection the coating was delicious. The homemade fries and cabbage salad were great. The portions were just right my husband had the two pieces of fish and i had one piece. We will definitely go again. The atmosphere was relaxing and staff were exceptional .“

“I absolutely loved this place! The vibe is very intimate, the restaurant is dimly lit with soft yellow light creating a cozy space. The service was exceptional, the staff all seemed kind and helpful. Our sever was attentive. I had the filet mignon medium rare, although the cut itself was excellent, I was disappointed b/c my steak was way over cooked. It was more medium well than medium rare. These steaks take a while to cook, and even though I did eat it anyway I did not enjoy it. I was really looking forward to a bloody steak with hot red center and that is not what I was served. These steaks are not cheap and for the price, I feel it should have been cooked to my requested specifications. My fiancé and his family dine here regularly and have told me getting an over cooked steak happens quite often. So just keep that in mind, if you come here. Other than that everything was great! I also had the shrimp and scallops w/ garlic sauce, I definitely recommend this dish. And for dessert the bread pudding!“
“The special shrimp and steak was an extensive amount more $ than the steak dinner on the menu for the same amount of Ounces. Was supposed to be 5 baby shrimp but waitress advised they ran out so they gave 2 jumbo shrimp instead as she served it. It was just about $20 more for shrimp was very expensive. To me it wasn't a special, overall the food was pretty good but very salty. Waitress was very friendly.“
“What a quaint, beautiful tavern. Stopped in today for lunch and my burger was cooked perfectly and the french fries were not just normal french fries, I would drive a half an hour for those french fries again. The staff was very friendly. Everything was clean, highly recommend.“
“Food is probably best in the area. However 16 for a burger is not justified, it was a very normal burger. Building is fairly loud when it gets busy. Place is nicely decorated. It tries to mimic higher end dining without delivering on flavors. For a better and more reasonably priced burger go to the rolling radish.“
