“Stopped tonight and we enjoyed the whole experience right from the start. Our server, Audrey, was very pleasant, and the service was fantastic. We decided to have appetizers instead of a meal. We ordered bang, bang shrimp, Buffalo chicken egg rolls and Philly steak egg rolls. All three were exceptional. I’m having a hard time deciding which I liked the best. My husband thought the Philly steak egg rolls were the best. The Manager ( or owner, not sure which) stopped by our table at the request of our waitress. I thought that was really nice. We highly recommend Maxon’s and are looking forward to going again.“

The chicken portofino was three portions stacked with chicken, mushrooms, red peppers, cheese and prosciutto! (took 2 portions home) We were so full that our waitress kindly offered to package our bread pudding to go, three separate containers one for the pudding, one for the sauce and another for the fresh whipped cream. Can't beat the staff, so helpful and everyone's constantly waiting on people and the decor is so cute and homey! Check out Ripe Tomato this week or any time.“

Greens were fresh, as were the sliced apples. We also had what has to be the best grilled cheese sandwich i have ever had. Loaded with a blend of 4 cheeses and caramelized onions. Bread was grilled to perfection. The order also included a fried chicken sandwich which had a huge fried chicken breast. Finally, the side order of chili didn't look that great but tasted fantastic\n I would also like to add that according to Google AI they offer gluten free bread and most items can be made gluten free.“

“I was craving Onion Rings and a Google search provided Juicy Burgers as an option. Since I was nearby at Stewart's, I decided to give them a try. The onion rings were just what I wanted, crispy and hot. No soggy onions or rings here. They're fast food onion rings, nothing fancy and not much of a 'wow' factor. If you need onion rings quick, give Juicy Burgers a try, I don't think you'll be disappointed. As for their other offerings, I can't really say, I just stopped in for onion rings.“

“We came in tonight, a party of 10 adults and 4 kids, for my dad's surprise 60th birthday and Ronnie was our waiter. From the moment we walked in, the staff was extremely friendly, everything was exceptionally clean, and service was absolutely outstanding. Ronnie was extremely attentive, sparked up lots of conversation with everyone, gave recommendations, and really took the time to include the kids (menu options, brought plain butter for their bread, etc). The food was outstanding, drinks were delicious and kept full, and we all left very very satisfied. For a majority of the party, it was our first time dining at Jacob and Anthony's, and there is no doubt that we will all dine there again.

“I have read past reviews about horrible service and do not agree. The service is a little on the slow side however you are there for an entire afternoon so it was never a problem. Also our hostess, waitress and all the support help were all delightful and a pleasure to converse and joke with. I have also seen complaints about pricing. Well you are at the track and it is expensive. There are picnic areas out back with free tables that you can bring your own food and beverages and not many sporting or entertainment venues allow that. Also a $20 cheese platter had plenty on it and the Barrata salad was delicious. I was not impressed with the chicken tenders and fries but she enjoyed them. Beers and drinks were a little pricey but no more than you would pay at a pro sporting event or concert and the drinks were made well. You throw in the atmosphere of being at the greatest horse racing track in the world and it makes for a very pleasurable afternoon. Saratoga Race Track has one of the most professional and courteous staff I have experienced. I would recommend The Porch to anyone. It is worth a few extra bucks for the exciting atmosphere and view and I already mentioned the wonderful staff.“

“We were there on June 4th Unbeknownst to us it was the start of Belmont week in Saratoga. The city was mobbed with people great to see. But not great on walk in dining. We were told it would be an hour wait because of all the reservations they had. This was not part of our plan of course. We then spotted an outdoor table in the shade. We grabbed it and the rest is history. We were greeted by Eli our server who by the way is incredibly knowledgeable when it comes to craft beer. He managed to recommend beers for all three of us that were delicious. Outstanding job Eli. We shared a spicy little pizza and a charcuterie board and both were awesome. What a great experience from start to finish. great beer and food spells a good time and we will be back for more in the future“

The interval between courses was just right. No rushing, time for conversation and digestion. The portions were also perfect so you could have an appetizer and not get filled up before the entree'. The mixed drink menu had many to choose from and an extensive wine list. Keeping our expectations low because it was Christmas Eve , we were blown away with the staff, the food, and the ambiance . Birthdays, anniversaries, even before holiday gatherings are held at Pennell's. “I will never eat here again I ordered their afternoon tea. A plain salad plate which consisted of greens two slices of cucumber and shredded carrots, a cup of soup and I wanted a scone. They were out of scones so I reluctantly agreed to a piece of cake. When I saw they charged me 29 I spoke to the manger explaning my complaint. She refused to acknowledge that the meal was overpriced for what I had. The waitress never stated there was an upcharge. Had I gotten a sandwich I would feel different but for what I got the price was waaay out of proportion. Never never never eating here again.“
