And now every time we pass this way we plan on stopping.Typical old school diner with the old school service and offerings.Dinners are magnificent. “We have been twice now when we are in the area and had Joellen as our waitress each time. She has been amazing each time; making sure to check in and tell us any details! The food is always amazing in quality and quantity. We always bring leftovers home. Fried pickles are delicious (and spears! So there any many to share). Mac and cheese is delicious and homemade. “Our choice for Schenectady Restaurant Week was Turf Tavern in Scotia, we have never been....it was delicious! I ordered off the restaurant week menu, Spinach Artichoke Dip, Prime Rib, Creme Brulee (this also came with a salad). Hubby had a Wedge Salad and the Sweet Cherry Pepper Pulled Pork. Everything was cooked perfectly and had excellent flavor, although I did need a little salt...Service was friendly and attentive. We will definitely be back!“
