“I cannot begin to tell you how wonderful the experience was here. Truly delicious black bean burger with sweet potato fries. Such genuinely kind and thoughtful staff. One of the individuals working there was vegetarian and the establishment posts a Happy Cow sign at the front entrance. The menu has marked vegetarian and vegan options. I would definitely come back if in the area again.“
“The food was absolutely delicious!! My friend and I shared the veggie lovers pizza flatbread and it was sooo cheesy and yummy!! Had so so much flavor!! A lot of garlic mixed it.The employees are kind and very down to earth type of people. Steven? I think that’s his name. He was our server and he was so so friendly and sociable! “This place is what the name says: a store carrying a general pantry and products with a heap of Adirondack charm. I recommend stopping here whether you’re a local on the east-side of Schroon in need of some quick groceries or someone who’s just visiting the area.They have a small dining area and deli bar which I haven’t tried yet. They also carry a selection of Adirondack-style clothing, knick knacks, and furnishings, though those things, as usual, are a little pricey. The owner and her sister were friendly and made the place a delight.“
“Solid dining choice. Service and food prep were prompt on a March Friday night. Pleasant conversation with other diners. Waitress was nice and knowledgeable and efficient. Food was hot and tasty. Bear in the bar is a nice touch. Ruben and wings and mama burger and fries and tots all good choices for us.“
“Warm, cozy place for a cold night, (or any night!)Fireplace lit up out front. Soft Ice cream out front in the summer. Got the Buffalo chicken pizza, meatball parm, blackened steak tidbits, the eggplant stack and some soups. Food was delicious. Some of the best fries we had up here. Killed it all!!“
