“Food is amazing, the staff works hard, this place is a goldmine for Middlebury..been going here since i was a kid..definitely worth it to check this restaurant out, if I could go every day I would :) go try them out! Local, friendly establishment. They also offer more than just bagels but also breakfast sandwiches, so happy they’re still around :)) also great coffee selections“
“Really nice restaurant. A gem in the middle of nowhere, just kidding about "nowhere" ?. The food was excellent and the service as well. I ordered a filet mignon, medium, and it was perfect. Pink in the center as it was supposed to be and very juicy. The server came over a number of times to make sure we had all we needed, as well as to ensure that the food was to our liking. Thumbs up!!!“
“The sign and building are easy to miss, so note the landmarks so you don't drive by it as we did as well as the friends we were meeting. But the menu had lots of choices, the food was delicious, and the overall experience was like having been hosted by family.“
“SUCH a great find! I agree with the reviewer who asked how it's ever not five stars? The people were so friendly and cheerful, and the sandwiches are some of the biggest I have ever seen! What great value, and the atmosphere is super fun. The bread is homemade and the size of your face (huge!), and the fillings are generous such that both my friend and I had to bring our leftovers home. High recommend!!“
“Very helpful and attentive waiter. The only issue was the Poutine. It was good, but the fries were soft, and the gravy was different. Good, just not what I'm used to. The Lamb pot pie and the desert were very good. I would definitely visit here “
“We travel an hour to get to this awesome restaurant because there is no other place in Vermont that treats you like family. There is not a bad dish on any of their menus. Their proportions are great and you will always come away full and satisfied.Vegetarian options: They will work with you on your vegetarian needsParking: They have ample parking and their parking lot is big enough for a few commercial tractor trailers.Kid-friendliness: Our children have never had a bad time at this restaurant. All the servers were friendly and engaging with our children.Wheelchair accessibility: They have a crazy amount of space for wheelchairs.“
“When picking up my pizza last night, they discovered the kitchen had my order wrong. They offered to make me another one (it was ready within 10 mins) and offered me a beer while I waited. The young man who assisted me was excellent. Definitely will be back!!“
“Yummy pastries! It can get crowded sometimes inside but that's to be expected! Make sure if you don't like the way vegan or gluten free pastries taste that you look at the tags because I accidentally ordered a gluten free pastry one time lol! The bread is very good and the danishes are to die for! Super cute ambience in the spring/summer!“
“Located in the student center of Middlebury College. Open to the public but geared more towards serving the on campus community. Hours will vary depending on the college calendar.Wheelchair accessibility: Elevator in the building . Doors are ADA compliant.“
“I didn’t realize the historical significance of the Inn when I booked it based on location from RT100 for leaf peeping. Overall, the establishment is in great condition considering the age. The rooms have no TV or radio and have a window air unit. My reason for a lower rating was the carpet. It was extremely dirty. They had 3 different kinds of rugs around the bed, and I didn’t look under them, but the exposed areas were gross. The shower is very small if that could be a concern. We had dinner and breakfast there and they were both really good. The staff was friendly, although obviously short staffed.“
“Amazing food and location. Beautiful space and impeccable service. We were a large party and in middle of the main dining room. In the future I would ask to be seated in a quieter side room so that we could hear everyone at the table. Older members of our group had a difficult time hearing anyone not seated directly next to them.“
