“Food is a little boring. Offerings and preparation are just too plain, simple. Since food is the most important thing to me for eating out, the overall rating was therefore effected. The service, people could not be better. On the other hand, this is a place for people whose prime reason to be there is to have a bite after playing a round or two of golf. And, in that way, the menu certainly serves the purpose. I would like to see it move into a primary restaurant attraction....s.“

“I've been the yacht club a few dozen times over the years and there is simply no better place on the west side of Lake Champlain. The setting alone is world class, set out into one of the largest lakes in north america, looking out at the green mountains. The food and drinks are consistently wonderful. A summer destination not to be missed.“

“We went there based on a friend's past experiences, the staff was nice but after that was where it went bad. The waitress asked us to order apps and entrees together ,so we did . We ordered 3 1808 burgers and a steak fritz ($36) , 2 of the burgers were burnt and tough , 3rd burgers was cooked to order , Steak had more inedible fat than edible meat . Also took over 1 hr for the food to come out . The place only had about 15-20 people in there while we were there .We had reservations for 5pm when they opened .Top 5 worst steaks I've ever had.“

“WOW! The last time I had Mexican food this good, I was in LA. Fresh ingredients and dishes that you can tell are made with love. It's worth the drive. If you have a large party (6 or more), call for a reservation as the dining room is small. Most locals do take out.“
