“Skratch Kitchen - VT’s best kept Secret - Hands down some of the best food I’ve had in Vermont and have been coming up here for since i was in diapers. My wife and 2 kids ( 5 & 7) are big foodies and difficult to impress. We strolled in on a whim since we were staying at the woods across the street. Extremely clean, well maintained and amazing atmosphere with live music. First night we shared a few apps “side of sausage”, “corn dip” and had salads for dinnr, our kids both had chix fingers and fries. The chicken fingers were home made not something out of a bag frozen. We Came back the next night and tried the “crispy Brussels” & egg rolls, they were bomb! Tacos and fried chicken sandwich followed, topped it off with the “brookie” dessert. Equally as impressed the 2nd night. If your looking for real food made from scratch and not the typical Vermont ehh dishes than this is your place. I promise you will not be disappointed! Friendly staff, very attentive, and well mannered. The only thing i can’t understand is anyone giving this restaurant a bad review, unless it’s local competition that’s envious of this place nailing every plate they serve, and if that’s the case come and take notes from the chef here ! I wish the owners of this place nothing but the best for many many years to com. Thank you for the hospitality !“
“Can’t imagine it’s the only place in Killington for breakfast but it is the only place for me. Excellent breakfast sandwich with surprise addition of the sweet potato hash. Endless coffee, local art, and a fish tank. Take out or sit in with a bar. What else can you want in a breakfast spot?“
“Visiting for one night midweek. Not many places opened Monday thru Wednesdays. Husband had a hankering for the Turkey Pot Pie on the menu so we tried it out. He said it was delicious. It was almost like a thick soup with a large biscuit on top. I had the steak frites. The steak was delicious, perfectly cooked with an herb butter, very tender and either I was very hungry….but the fries were delicious. A real bar feel , almost pub like, funny though the music playing was more like an island feel, didn’t quite fit the vibe.“
“Once again, The Foundry killed it! went there for my Bday dinner and Ryan again ordered some of the same , but also new items. The Elk Rack is AMAZING, the NY Steak and Hangar were cooked to perfection as always. The Tuna Tartar and Beef Sliders for apps were incredible. The 4 desserts were mouth watering. Jess our waitress was phenomenal as was the rest of the staff who joined in and had fun and laughs with us! Chef Michael came out to meet us personally and thank us for trying the different foods. Once again, we highly suggest you stop in for great food and great service!!“
“Driving by this big place set back saw their sign for chicken pot pie and decided to stop in. There's plenty of parking and looked more like a locals drinking spot. I wasn't sure what the food would be like. We were greeted and seated quickly. The atmosphere in the late afternoon was lively with the football games on the many tvs. There are a couple of pool tables and lots of seating. The food was really good as was the service. If I'm in the area again I would stop back in.“
“Went here with friends and it did not really disappoint! Drinks were good, and food was good. Dont get the nachos with chicken (legit arrived as cubes of chicken..) but there’s a steak, fries and Brussel sprouts dish for $28 - run don’t walk!! So so “
