“This was definitely a good choice for us! The food was absolutely amazing and the chocolate lava cake was wayyyy to good. Our server, Ilena B. was so sweet and nice, very friendly and was right on top of things without being in our faces all the time. We enjoyed talking to a Buckeye fan! O-H… she knows what’s next! 5 stars for everyone and the food and service. Everyone was pleasant! Thank you for making our trip from Ohio great. Deana and Melony“
“It's a diner, with the full diner experience. All the menu items that you would expect. I got the Joker, with hash. Eggs over medium, as ordered, everything else delicious and hot. Buddy had eggs benedict, cleaned his plate. Coffee kept coming and no one seemed concerned that we stuck around a little longer to catch up. We didn't overstay our welcome as they were getting busy.“
“Rooms: Lots of places to eat and shop nearby. Quechee gorge is a great place to visit. Walking trails and a variety of little shops. Restaurants close by the gorge too. It is an expensive area but beautiful. Lots of different shops and restaurants in Woodstock near the green. Also a theater with different acts, plays, music etc.“
“Our lunch at the Red Rooster was wonderful. The garden greens topped with grilled salmon was delicious. The salmon was cooked to perfection and the maple vinaigrette dressing complemented the salad beautifully. My husband likes trying unique menu options and he enjoyed the duck tacos. Samantha was the perfect server - friendly and very competent in her job. Her service was prompt with frequent returns to our table to inquire if everything was satisfactory. Be prepared that lunch for two which includes a first plate, entree, a dessert and one bar beverage per person will probably be above $100 before the gratuity but we felt that our lovely experience was worth the expense.“
“We are so glad we found this place. It was a great experience. My husband and I were there celebrating his 50th birthday weekend and wanted a special dinner. We had bar seat reservations and the hostess who seated us also took our order. I was SO thrilled they had mocktails! (As a suggestion, it should be on the wine/beer menu. We had to ask about it!) And then I was asked if I wanted fruity, citrus or spicy. I chose citrus and had the very coolest drink. I ordered another! Everything is tappas style so you order to share. We ordered raw oysters, whipped ricotta toast with fig jam, teriyaki pork tacos and the chocolate mouse. All the food was literally INCREDIBLE except the mouse. It had no sweetness at all and we strongly disliked the cherries on top. The only good thing about it was the little shortbread cookie. We'd try something else for dessert next time. The other downside was no one asked how we were doing or if we needed anything the entire time we were seated. Our ricotta toast had been forgotten and we had to flag someone down in order to ask about it even though the people next to us had all their courses before we did though they were seated much later than us. I felt a little forgotten overall. BUT the service was all met with a smile and kindness! I would still go back!“
“A very solid date and drink spot in white river junction! The food is surprisingly good Chicken liver mousse 5/5: It was fantastic and was a great shareable portion, had to keep the bread flowing for it. A must try Salmon 4/5: Very solid dish and cooked to preserve the moistness of the fish- would recommend Short rib 3.5/5: was good as well but out of all the dishes I would not put it as great as the others Ambiance/ Service: A little dark inside for me as it's not and only lit restaurant but depending where you sit the lighting can be slightly awkward for ambiance or photos. The service was good“
“THE place in the upper valley to purchase cakes for your special occasion. The strawberries and whipped cream cake is our favorite. Their baked goods, breakfast (smoothie bowl!), and lunch items make it an easy choice when going out with the family.“
“We stayed at the Inn for a couple of nights and made a reservation well in advance for dinner. It was fantastic. One of the best pizzas that we have ever had. Wine and dessert were delicious as well. The service was excellent! Heads up…. They will automatically add a 20% tip to your check. It’s a very cozy atmosphere.“
“I researched our area for a tasting menu, my favourite way to enjoy dinner out. The Lincoln Inn 7course tasting menu was outstanding. Each plate was beautifully crafted and creative. The food was delicious. Because we don’t drink alcohol we enjoyed the non-alcoholic drink pairings in lieu of the wine parings. I recently visited a Michelin star rated restaurant in San Francisco and the chef at the Lincoln in outdid that menu in spades. I can’t wait to return when we don’t have to drive home in a blizzard. ?“
“I have food allergy and Anna said I could still order anything I like and she make sure that ingredient was not in there. I love Denny’s food but you know…it’s Dennys. They were pretty busy and I didn’t have to wait too long. I like hot tea with lemon…but NOT TOO HOT. Anna swiftly brought all my hot tea with lemon components (cup of ice too). Thanks Anna I needed that….Have a great day!“
“Had a lovely dinner at Thyme tonight and was so glad we selected this restaurant to go out for a special meal with two hard of hearing family members. The space is beautiful with large windows *and yet it's not chilly* and tables are not too close together. The sound level was reasonable so even my very hard of hearing mother-in-law could participate in our dinner conversation. The food was excellent and the service impeccable. Our server was wonderfully attentive and even made lemonade for my mother-in-law even though it was not available on the menu. Artichoke fritters - 5/5 delicious and light appetizer Garlic fries - 5/5 crisp and just the right amount of seasoning with an aoili dip Pear salad - 5*/5 arugula, pear, dried cherries, and we substituted goat cheese for the bleu cheese (which our waitress agreed with!) - super delicious, light, fresh, and I would be happy to go back just to have this salad! Scallop entree - 4/5 four nice sized scallops on a bed of black rice with asian flavorings Meat loaf - I didn't get to taste this one but my mother-in-law very much enjoyed it and almost finished it all which is saying a lot for a small eater Steak - 5/5 ordered two of these, both done medium rare, tender, large portions (neither of us finished ours), with a tasty sauce on top and mushrooms/onions/potatoes on the side, served with baby carrots (which I do not prefer) so asked for green beans which they gladly substituted. Chocolate cake for dessert 5/5 - their variation of a whoopie pie made with Stout beer to lighten up the cake - ice cream sandwiched in between two pieces of cake and topped with whipped cream. Yum! We will definitely come here again!“
“Busy Saint Patrick's Day crowd. Had the Reuben with a side salad. Excellent on both counts. Very friendly staff all around. Split the portions and the beer which was very nice. Excellent beer choices. Also had the pretzel bites, a large portion and delicious. Very fun atmosphere, order at the bar and they bring it to you. Will go back when in the area which is a real destination place in that area!“
“Chicken Carlo was good. Large portions. Came with fries and half of a fried chicken. Chicken was delicious and juicy but the fries were overcooked. My wife had spinach and black bean lasagna it was overcooked and dry out crispy and not tasty. Should have sent it back but it was long in waiting to be served. Portions was small.“
“$3 Margaritas! That's enough to get me to come back. The food is decent tavern fare., sandwiches, burgers, salads and the like. The nachos are large portions, good for three or more. The burgers come on a soft brioche bun, but have an issue of slightly too high bun to burger ratio. Solid overall choice.“
“Today was our first time experiencing cloudland farms exclusive farm to table meal that was so peaceful. This was quintessential to northern New England and it's culture and history of farming. The flavors are unique to farm to table eating. If you know, you know! Our server Meg, who is a part of the family that has owned the farm since 1908, who gave an awesome description and history of the farm itself and was a pleasure to chat with. We can't wait to go back and sit by the fireplace on a cold winter night. Thanks to all the staff. Cheers!“
“We did an overnight here this past weekend and had a really nice stay. The Inn is obviously very old, but it's also very well taken care of. The place was warm and inviting, and it had a very cheerful vibe. Enjoyed the tavern and beers they brew there as well. Hope to stay again sometime.“
“What a cool spot! We stopped in for breakfast burritos before hitting the road. We were greeted promptly at the window & received our burritos freshly made to order within minutes! Takeout only at this time so we enjoyed them in the car. Just delicious with really good sausage (not the frozen link kind!!). Would definitely recommend.“
“Great customer service! I ordered food to be delivered to my workplace yesterday and doordash did not deliver it to the right place (not boloco's fault). One of the owner's CJ immediately reached out to me and made sure the order was remade and got delivered to me at work today. I also got a free cookie. CJ was extremely communicative and helpful, I've never had a restaurant be so committed to making things right! And the food was great :)“
“As a vegetarian, I was hesitant to order food from a sports bar, but it was excellent! Falafel burger, fries, and special sauce were all so good I couldn’t put it down. Mozz sticks hit the spot as well, and my partner was happy with his chicken sandwich. Definitely recommend if you’re in the area and looking for pub food. Blows the other old standbys out of the park!Vegetarian options: Not a huge menu but there are a few veggie options and what I had was very yummy!“
“This hotel is duper special, in a very unique location and great rooms. We loved the area, the pond right next to it, the restaurant and the local store, they made our experience so special! The only little downsides I want to mention are:1. There is no coffee machine or pot in the room, so if you are in a mood for coffee in the afternoon - it’s not an option.2. No one actually welcomes you to the hotel, you get the passcode for the door via email and enter by yourself. For me it was a little disappointing but maybe it’s just me.But overall, the room was great, very clean and spacious and we loved the whole experience.Nearby activities: Only 8 minutes drive from woodstock“
“I travel. And I must say, the Brussel sprouts are the best I've had! Even where I was at in California. Where I drove by farms of them and they served them everywhere. The mashed potatoes with that garlic butter was very good. The steak (New York strip) was very tasty. It was over cooked however. I prefer rare and or Blue. Asked for rare and got med rare to med. But it was still tasty. So I won't bash it this time. Ordering some swordfish to go for later tonight to see how it holds up. I have high hopes. But I will prob come again before I leave the state and see if the stake is cooked better. But over all. Happy with my experience. Thank you Meara for the excellent service and always smiling. It's not always easy as a server and some people can be pains. lol.Totally recommend the 110 Grill.“
“Superb bakery serving flaky croissants, chewy cookies with crisp edges, chocolate truffles and a myriad of sweets baked goods. They even have empanadas and breakfast sandwiches. Comfortable, but limited seating of 4 small cafe tables. A great find!“
“We were a group of 3 people and were seated within 10 minutes. I've been there several times and without a reservation there is usually a bit of a wait. Nice atmosphere.Parking: Plenty of free parking but you may have a very short walkWheelchair accessibility: Dining room area can be tight but still wheelchair accessible“
“Food doesn’t disappoint you will not go away hungry! Sunday late morning so of course very busy. Not a complaint just an observation the front staff seemed a little disjointed with clearing dishes and bringing customers checks but its all done with a smile. Will be back.“
“Sorry I can't comment about the restaurant because we went to this Simon Pearce location just to watch the glass blowers. What an amazing experience. The showroom is on the main level and the quality of craftsmanship was incredible. Honestly, these pictures don't do it justice. The glassblowing area is just down the stairs. You are literally 10 feet away from the action. What amazing skill these artists have. We were able to chat with them and they were more than willing to share their knowledge about their craft. Highly recommend going to watch these artisans at work!“
