Excellent food. Service was kind, and knowledgeable but it took so long to our food, like 30+ minutes.... 2 other groups came in and ordered, Served and ate before we got our food. I think we were just forgotten. The food is great, just super hungry kids and we were waiting and waiting and our food was just sitting on the back.

The Mad Taco serves tasty and fresh food, with pleasant and attentive staff that embody the Vermont spirit. Known for its flavorful meats and generous portions, the menu features delicious pork items and amazing meals made with fresh ingredients and interesting sauces. The standout kimchi adds a unique touch, while dishes like the wet burrito with chicken offer excellent value for the price. Customers have praised the al pastor and slow burn tacos for being well filled with tasty ingredients. The tacos come with a health portion of herbs and onions, and the sauces are highly recommended. The restaurant is a clean and inviting spot in downtown Montpelier, where friendly staff ensure quick service, and food is served hot. Some customers note that while the pricing is a bit high, the quality of ingredients and overall experience make it worth a visit.
