“We kind of accidentally happened upon Slate Town Brewing when we were actually visiting Vermont. Just a little over the state line, so it wasn't far from where we were at the time in VT. The brews were very good, and the food was also good. Great service overall, and a cool vibe inside. It was a pleasant surprise for sure, and would definitely go back. It would be a regular hangout if we lived in the area.”

“On The Rocks Pub provided the bar services for our wedding last week at a nearby venue and they were absolutely amazing. 10/10 recommend!!! Tonya and Vicky are great people, incredibly personable and friendly. Very efficient team too, despite being just the 2 of them working, the line never got too long over the course of the night. They brought a great selection of drinks and accommodated in any way they could. We also stopped and ate at the Pub a while back before our wedding day and the food was delicious. Good food, great drinks, and awesome people.”

In addition the employees are so professional and sweet to talk to and order from, the customer service is exceptional! I had the pleasure of speaking with the owner one day and he takes a lot of pride and care on how he runs his business. He is extremely responsible, very intellectual and just a very good person who cares about his customers the community and his employees and business. I hope to get pizza here with my son for a long time and wish you all success in our local community!! “We went in on a busy Friday night. The staff was working so hard to keep everything moving, but the kitchen had gotten backed up. We witnessed a young young man absolutely lose his mind because he had been waiting. He literally threw a temper tantrum! So embarrassing….for him. Despite his behavior the servers were top notch and we didn’t wait long at all for our dinners. I had the Mediterranean Pasta and it was delicious and big enough for two meals. Thank you for your hard work and we will be back!”

“Although I like this place I ordered the rocket burger and basically poutine. My French fries had ONLY the slightest bit of gravy on them (no cheese even though that’s what I ordered.) the rocket burger had the tiniest bit of boom boom sauce on the bottom of the sandwhich. I get y’all may be understaffed but make your food correctly how people order it and these reviews wouldn’t happen. Again, I love this place as much as the next, but it’s upsetting I paid 40 dollars for food that wasn’t made correctly.”

“Scarlotta’s Car Hop is such a fun spot to stop at! One of my favorite things is their Dole Whip! they switch up the flavors every so often, which keeps it exciting and gives you a reason to come back. Every flavor I’ve tried has been delicious and super refreshing. The staff is pretty friendly, and it has that classic car hop vibe that makes the whole experience even better. Definitely a place I recommend if you’re in the mood for a treat!”

The owner is truly a wonderful lady who takes pride in her work. She has created her own little Hall of Fame wall filled with customer pictures and memories from the past four decades such a unique and heartwarming touch that makes the place even more special. It’s not just a pizza place; it’s a part of local history and tradition.

The staff is friendly, the service is quick, and you feel right at home the moment you walk in. It’s rare to find a place that combines delicious food, genuine hospitality, and such a rich story behind it.

“Fun local bar with 1 pool table reasonably price drinks, and friendly bartenders. It pretty much only attracts a local crown and it's cash only. That said everyone seem friendly and we had a good time.”
