“Had one of the most enjoyable meals ever. Farm fresh, imaginative food and libation. The jubilee was the best cocktail I have had in my entire life. Corn soup with lobster was sweet and succulent. Entrees full of flavor .. The wine pouring complemented each courser perfectly. And the service was perfection… Warm and welcoming. Made to feel like old friends. Can’t wait to go back.”

“Absolutely hands down the best BBQ in New England! May be as bold to say in the US. I've traveled to many places known for BBQ throughout the US and have yet to find better. Keep up the good work fellas!”

“It is so clear the folks at Johnny's really care about putting out an exceptional quality sandwich. The ingredients tasted fresh and high quality and every aspect was just so well done. I've never been more impressed by a simple grilled cheese. My pickle-hating dining companion was thrilled that they wrap the side pickle to keep to it separate from the sandwich. It's little touches like this that take them above and beyond all other competition. I am very excited to go back and try other menu offerings, as I am very confident they will all be done with the same level of care and expertise.”
“Was at Esmeralda’s Pachamanca dinner gathering. A truly life experience. Maria Rondeau and JuanMa Calderón’s experimental restaurant breaks new ground in F2T eating. A must on any real foodees checkbox”

“We were in town for the holiday weekend and had lunch at Calcuttas. The food was amazing, the staff was super attentive and the views from the back patio overlooking Fox Run Golf Course were spectacular! And they had an acoustic guitar player which was awesome. I highly recommend Calcuttas!”
“Enjoyed breakfast there this morning. Terrific food and very friendly service. Feels like going to grandma’s house. We live an hour away but try to make it there at least once a year, if not more. My wife and I highly recommended a visit.”

“Fun treat for the family on the piste. Note that beverage prices have gone up from the 23-24 season. Water was $6, coffee, hot chocolate, apple cider (very good BTW), tea, soda, sports drink, and energy drink had all gone up a dollar. We get it, skiing is expensive and you're never going to get a deal at a lodge when it comes to food, but it's getting a little ridiculous.”
“Beautiful historic mansion that is well maintained and has great staff. We stayed in the non-mansion portion of the inn and the rooms were spacious, clean, and very quiet. Smart TV made it very easy to temporarily log into streaming services. There are some pastry/muffin style breakfast items available as well as coffee in the lobby. The staff historian gave us an amazing tour of the underground tunnels beneath the mansion, which include a very unique and still working telescope. As with every old building anywhere, there are some dust and cobwebs occasionally in high corners, but it is by no means dirty. Check in/out process is fantastically streamlined. We can’t wait to return and try out one of the mansion rooms”

“This is really top-notch Chinese food. Lo mein, chicken & broccoli, general tso’s, fried dumplings are all really good. Everything I have had seems 100% freshly made and not unnecessarily drenched in oil or salt. Take out is really speedy and it travels well over a 15+ minute ride”

“Absolutely recommend. We’ve played and dined out here before and the cooks and waitstaff are exceptional at what they do! The whole restaurant has its own originality and quirks that keep us coming back! If you are looking for a pit stop in ludlow this is the only place to unwind listen to some good music and enjoy the atmosphere!”
“My wife just left a positive review, but I also feel the need to do the same just to offset at least the last awful review somebody left because I honestly feel like she had a rock in her ski boot or something.
We ate here for dinner out of convenience since we were staying at the hotel. I was not expecting it to be very good. The French onion soup is made in house and is extremely flavorful, packed with onions and cheese. We ordered a warm beet salad that had multiple huge chunks of beets that were perfectly cooked, house pickled onions and a delicious house made dressing, also not skimping on goat cheese.
We also order the poutine(and again on our second visit the next night). The poutine was made with house cut potato slices that were perfectly fried and absolutely covered in melty string cheese and gravy. Now, the gravy was not house made but it WAS great, so salty and beefy. It’s the perfect rib-sticking hearty dish to have after day of skiing. Entrees for both nights included salmon, beef shorts ribs and the signature Coleman burger.
I don’t know if they have a 1st string chef for the weekends, but the guy cooking mid-week sure as hell knows how to cook. Salmon was perfect both nights. Risotto was perfect both nights. Short rib and burger cooked perfect.
Service and staff were very nice and helpful.
Oh! And the friggen cocktails were great too, which really surprised me.”
