Last but not least: the host, Eleni is a real host like you don't find anymore. All the waiter and waitress are nice and professional: they make you feel at home even if you are a foreigner like me.mThe place is extremely clean and tidy, in a word, beautiful. the Putney diner is a very good reason to come to Vermont at any season.“

“We serendipitously ran into this wonderful restaurant in Brattleboro, Vermont called High Thai and were so unbelievably surprised by the excellent food and service we got in this establishment. As I initially warned one of the owners, Adam, I am a food snub from NYC where Asian cuisine and its many fusions are plentiful and good but this definitely rivaled any of the best restaurants in NYC.“

“Hubby & I tried The Hungry Diner for the first time on Valentine’s Day! The place was busy as we had expected, however we were greeted right away with a smile and welcome! She asked if we had been there before, gave us a run down of the menus and drink selections, how to order, be seated and served. The restaurant was so beautiful, well designed and very appropriate for the theme. We were amazed at how well everyone worked together so smoothly and happily! The milkshakes came out first and very quickly, truly so creamy!! Our food came out within 15 minutes, hot and fresh! My husband got the Hungry Mac & Cheese with Bacon, and I got the Hungry Chickenwich with Hungry Fries, neither of us were disappointed in any way! He needed a box for half of his dinner because it was so filling! He said the bacon was so fresh and thick cut, and the Mac n cheese was so creamy and rich! The chicken in the chickenwich was so juicy and cooked perfectly with crispy edges! The hungry fries are to die for, reminded me of fair fries! Highly recommend and we will be going back!! Side note, big shout out to a few employees who made our stay exceptional and/or we noticed going above and beyond: (apologies for not knowing anyone’s names) -one of the cooks wearing a beanie with pigtail braids: we watched her ensuring food went out looking perfect, if it was less than that or needed finishing touches she added it with such finesse and a smile! -the woman who greeted us (possibly an owner or manager): fantastic at her job, friendly, energetic, very welcoming and comforting (almost a motherly feeling), and extremely knowledgeable of the menu and drinks! She checked in with us a few times and asked our opinion! -the man wearing a hat (also possibly an owner or manager): my husband and I watched this man work so hard the entire time we were there! He was doing a little bit of everything, from bringing food to tables, to picking up dirty dishes, to observing the room to make sure everything was orderly! Everyone was friendly, smiling and hardworking! ☺️“

“What an amazing experience! My family and I visited the gallery and learned about the powerful, humorous and moving art directly from Cai and Adam. While we were there, we also took advantage of the opportunity to order a delicious lunch of dumplings, spring rolls, buns and scallion pancakes. A terrific way to spend an afternoon in Brattleboro. “I ordered food for a party I was having this past weekend and the food was amazing! The portions were fantastic (had more then enough), all containers were labeled,they provided serving utensils and it was all boxed and ready to go when I got there! They also helped me load it all into my car. So impressed with everything and will definitely be ordering from them in the future for any other gatherings that come up!“

Hostess was so kind & welcoming, our waitress was attentive, knowledgeable & helpful, the drinks were excellent & the food was awesome!! “We went to Echo for the first time tonight. The food was good, service was pretty slow. Our appetizer, my grandsons food, both came out after our meals were almost gone. We ordered Calamari, which is not good reheated....the waiter said he would take care of us but wound up charging me for it. Not a huge deal, he was really nice, but that was a little disappointing.“

“Stopped here for some gluten free food. My wife has Celiac Disease and has to be very careful where she eats. Superfresh was very helpful with the questions she had and we had a fantastic meal. The sandwiches are delicious and the fries are to die for. Highly recommend for a lunch stop when you're in town!“

“We’ve gotten bagels here a few times and this time we dined in. We ordered and someone new was being trained so we only got one of our breakfast sandwiches and in the end it was fine, we ended up sharing and it was plenty. Their flavored coffee is very good, they give you the cup and lid and you do the rest. When we want a bagel we’ll definitely come back. Next time I’ll take a photo.“

“Today, we had a work event here at The Marina. Lily was our server, and she was absolutely incredible. She handled BOTH of our tables full of people (22-23 people total) all by herself with taking our orders. She joked with us, giggled with us and entertained us in the best ways possible. This woman is god sent to the server industry. She handled us with grace, and with the most incredible patience. We were very loud for sure, given we just got out of work and we had a few drinks lol. She was willing to work with every special request we had! She is the absolute best, highly recommend her as a server and I will definitely be asking for her again if I’m ever here ❤️“

“The service was terrible. We waited over an hour for our meal. My salad came after my meal was delivered. The meal was cold. It had been sitting for a very long time. The hostess finally delivered it. The chicken tenders were way over cooked. The waitress avoided us all during the meal, never came back to see if ever was ok. It was not ok. She snuck the check on our table. This is the worse experience ever in a restaurant and ruined our meal out.“

“Best pizza in Brattleboro and pretty much the entire area north of Springfield MA. Pizza and wings are always my go to and their eggplant parm appetizer is amazing. Recently discovered the cheesesteak and house made chips. Holy smokes! The cheesesteak was unbelievably delicious. Best I’ve had outside of Philly. It was completely stuffed with tender meat and the cheese was all nice and gooey mixed with a crusty outside on the roll and a nice soft inside that held in all the juice. The chips are so good I wanna go sit at the bar and eat a whole pile of them with some beer. I don’t know if the picture captures how huge the cheesesteak is because wow it’s huge. That’s what she said.“
