“I cannot say enough good things about Bevo. I never once had to worry about a thing. Kathleen and her staff thought of everything. From our first meeting, we knew we were in good hands. Kathleen was so helpful and knowledgeable about the whole process and offered tons of ideas for things we hadn't even thought of. We were able to create our own menu (build your own tacos as well as a mac and cheese bar) and Kathleen offered excellent suggestions of things to go with it. You name it, and Bevo can do it. Leading up the the wedding, Kathleen was great about checking in and seeing if we needed help with anything. The day of the wedding was wonderful. The entire Bevo staff was kind, attentive and incredibly professional. The chefs out-did themselves, we are still getting compliments from our guests about the delicious food and the abundance of it. Throughout the evening, the staff would bring my wife and I water, reminding us to stay hydrated. They were all so sweet and everything went so smoothly. At the end of the evening, they provided us with two large bags full of food for us to take home, which was a real life saver the next few days with all our family in town. Between the delicious food, and the wonderful staff, we will be recommending Bevo to everyone we see. They are without a doubt the best catering company!“

“Let's Pretend catered our wedding and did an outstanding job (125 guests at Talta Lodge in Stowe, VT, August 2024). Liane and her team are so kind and they are great at what they do. We highly recommend Let's Pretend.
The food was phenomenal and everyone had more than enough to eat. My personal favorites were the hot honey fried chicken skewers and the steak - cooked perfectly. Let's Pretend also made us egg sandwiches for the after party which were delicious and the perfect late night snack. Many of our guests said that it was the best wedding food they had ever had!
During the cocktail hour and reception, the Let's Pretend team was very attentive to my wife and I. They provided our own personal server during cocktail hour to make sure we got as many apps as we wanted. At the reception, Liane checked in a few times to make sure everything was good and we had all the food we wanted. We did not get to eat as much as we wanted at the reception because our guests kept us busy talking, but the next morning, we found multiple takeout containers of leftover food in our fridge: Let's Pretend had boxed up the leftovers for us so we could enjoy our wedding food the next day! It was the perfect amount of food to hold us over until we left for our honeymoon 2 days later.
Our reception was at a venue that did not have its own kitchen; Let's Pretend seamlessly handled the setup and take down of their portable kitchen, and also provided their own serving plates/utensils. Let's Pretend is super easy to work with and very responsive.
We did a tasting at their kitchen in South Hero several months before our wedding. Liane made us feel right at home and we ate so much amazing food.“
