Boule Bakery Reviews
one of my favorite bakery in Vermont. .. I drive 45 min just to get some of the yummiest baked goods ever....
We stopped by Boule this morning on our way back to NY. From NH. We had an amazing breakfast sandwich on their homemade English muffin and a ham and cheese croissant. 10/10! We picked up a cinnamon roll for a late day snack. I only wish I ate it there because we would have picked up a cool dozen. I have pastries all over the world. Hands down best cinnamon roll ever! I wish they shipped!!!
A must go when in St. J, highest quality ingredients, and everything is to die for. Great atmosphere. And wonderful staff.

Boule Bakery is a highly praised bakery in Saint Johnsbury, known for its delicious pastries, outstanding service, and tasty beverages. It offers a variety of homemade baked goods, including sourdough bread, a vegetarian panini, and ham and cheese croissants. Their chai and syrups are made in-house, and their almond pastries are also popular. The bread is especially notable, with some calling it the best baguette they've ever had, which is great on its own without any additions. The vegan cookies are excellent, and the English muffins have a mild flavor with a soft interior, similar to milk bread. The sourdough-based croissant has a unique texture and flavor, not overly buttery or crispy, but tasty with a good chew. The vegan chocolate chip cookie is very good, and the cardamom bun is considered exceptional and a must-try. While the overall experience is enjoyable, some found the ordering process confusing and a little frustrating, with unnecessary foot traffic at the register. Despite this, Boule Bakery remains a place known for its sourdough and creative baked goods, often surpassing bakery options in larger cities.
