From the mountain we walked in till the moment we checked out this inn provided a sterling experience. My granddaughter and I were spending a few days and it was over her birthday. Well, the Green mtn Inn, still has its charm and and the classic New England vibe. The grounds are immaculately taken care of. The food at the whip is always top notch. Cust service at the Hotel was always spot on, not this time , Check inn was simple. That's where things took a wrong turn, Getting the take out seemed hit or miss at the Whip though. We booked one of the more expensive rooms based on the photos on their website. The room assigned to us was in the inn itself, not annex. We were surprised to find our room was nothing like the room in the photo which we expected. This room was small with enough space for only 1 person to pass between the end of the bed and the fireplace. When sitting up in bed, you couldn't see the fire because it was do close at the foot.
