We were driving off the beaten path through the back woods of Vermont when we came upon the Sanfo country store & Market. We were hungry due to the fact that we had a early breakfast and it was about 3 PM. Upon entering the store, we discovered that in addition to beer wine, local cider, milk, cheese, eggs, cereals, peri peri sauce, CBD and typical souvenirs, it was also a Chinese restaurant, Asian Market & Gift Shop. Great little place. There is a small Chinese take-out buffet with tasty items, but this is also a convenience store which includes a selection of Asian items. Additionally, they have snacks, microbrew beer and wine. An unusual mix, but it works. Highly recommended.
I was surprised to scroll down and see some low reviews. Granted, everyone's experiences are different, but our family has loved Sanfo for years. We have ordered takeout countless times, especially through the bleak covid period, and have never been disappointed. The service has always been good, the food has always been delicious, and the portion sizes have always been more than sufficient -- usually getting two full meals out of every order.
