“I like Jersey Mike's and tonight my #66 only had steak and it was lacking the mushrooms, peppers and onions. My #8 Mike's way was perfect. I will check the next time before I drive 40 minutes home. Still great food and service so far, just one incident that won't kill it.“

“Just wanted to say thank you to Doug and Lindsay for their kindness and helpfulness when I was involved in an accident in front of their station.As I was very shaken by the accident, Doug and Lindsay were very comforting and supportive until the wrecker arrived. “Martone’s is a MUST every time I visit Vermont. Their sandwiches are massive. You can customize your own or order one of their YUM options. Staff is super friendly and service is very quick. The indoor seating area is such a vibe and so cozy. I LOVE Martones!“

“Delicious sandwiches and extremely fresh! When I got there, egg salad was crossed off the board so I asked if they were out and the employee said “it’s not a problem” and promptly made a fresh batch just for my sandwhich. now that’s customer service!!!“

“Simply the best sandwich place around. The bread is absolutely delicious and is what pushes their sandwiches to a 10/10 instead of just an 8 or 9. Everything else is cooked and made perfectly; excellent portions and reasonably priced. Service is fast and tireless, they work hard and it shows. I don’t often tip for pickup service, but I always will here, and at 20%+. Highly, highly recommend Paisley Hippo.“

“I’m a BHS student, and this is week 6 of my 🍴Student Eareries Series🍴
Today I am craving a fast and tasty dinner, since I have a night event to get to. I figured subway would be the best place to go since it’s the nearest to the school.
The atmosphere was okay, but we did see a bug on the floor. Not a very good impression. Also, there are no tissue papers in the restaurant, which is a huge minus.
The service was good! Fast and simple, the server answered questions and the ordering process was really easy.
The food is of course the star of the show. I ordered a footlong Philly Cheesesteak with added jalapeños, onions, bell peppers, and a medium size Pepsi Cola Fountain Drink. The sandwich is PERFECT for spicy lovers! A fresh and rich flavor, and a perfect spice! The meat and cheese was also great. Also get a sauce, it’ll change the entire flavor of the sandwich! The soda here also hits DIFFERENT! That carbonated flavor makes the sodas here great.
Overall very fresh and rich food, the service is quick and easy, although the atmosphere could be a little questionable. There are also no tissue papers here.

“Great sandwiches and burritos! Super affordable. Think $11-12 out the door where most places in BTV charges $16+. Hidden gem! Great place to grab a couple supplementary groceries, snacks or beer late at night. Owner works all the time and js very nice.“

“I’m in town briefly while my dog is having surgery at a specialty center. I wanted to grab a quick breakfast before picking him up to go home. I mistakenly stopped at a different cafe down the road, was greeted by staff not wearing masks and arguing with each other. I paid for my food because I was caught off guard and didn’t eat it. Found Williston Coffee Shop and immediately felt like I was in the right place. Staff was friendly and polite, wearing masks and keeping customers safe. Food was so amazing and fresh, and coffee was awesome! I’m so glad the first place didn’t work out, because my tomato basil egg sandwich was incredible. I know it’s hard right now, but you guys are doing a great job keeping everyone safe with your extra protocols, and it shows. If I come back to town I will come back, and anyone that visits the veterinary practice will get a referral to your coffee shop from me!“
