“Great sandwich shop! Very filling and fresh!“

“I’m in town briefly while my dog is having surgery at a specialty center. I wanted to grab a quick breakfast before picking him up to go home. I mistakenly stopped at a different cafe down the road, was greeted by staff not wearing masks and arguing with each other. I paid for my food because I was caught off guard and didn’t eat it. Found Williston Coffee Shop and immediately felt like I was in the right place. Staff was friendly and polite, wearing masks and keeping customers safe. Food was so amazing and fresh, and coffee was awesome! I’m so glad the first place didn’t work out, because my tomato basil egg sandwich was incredible. I know it’s hard right now, but you guys are doing a great job keeping everyone safe with your extra protocols, and it shows. If I come back to town I will come back, and anyone that visits the veterinary practice will get a referral to your coffee shop from me!“

“Service is almost always excellent. One gal that's worked there for a few years or more, makes my order exactly the way I order it every time. However, I DO have a few issues:
* They often are out of items, always out of chocolate chip cookies, and often times, some breads and meats;
* They don't have a telephone to call to let me know they're out of what I just ordered online;
* On July 2, I ordered online at 3:55pm. My card was was charged. I arrived at the location and they weren't open. Seriously? This is the second location this month that's done this to me. Since Subway was bought out a few years ago, the quality of food and service have suffered to varying degrees depending upon the exact location.“

“Tried Jersey Mike’s Subs for the first time and let me just say… this was an experience. Walk in all excited just to find out they’re OUT of the rosemary bread… with 30 minutes left before closing. Thirty. Minutes. Strike one. I’m already side-eyeing management like I’ve been personally betrayed. Then—out of nowhere—a random lady announces to the entire store that my provolone cheese is “stinky,” and the employees just… agree??? Like excuse me ma’am, that is MY stinky cheese and I chose it with confidence. Strike two. BUT THEN… I find out they slice the meat and cheese fresh right in front of you?? And suddenly I’m watching this beautiful chaos unfold like yes, please, shave me some deli perfection straight from the grinder of destiny and stack it aggressively onto my tragically non-rosemary bread. AND YES—the sandwich was actually delicious. Like… annoyingly good. I hate that they redeemed themselves like that. PS: they desperately need hot sauce because my taste buds crave violence and I came here to suffer (in a good way).“

“Ron and his wife are always amazing and Proffasional. I been going here since 2005. My to go place for fish and chips England 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿 style and of course their huge subs. Love all the staff all amazing and keep up the good work.“

“Simply the best sandwich place around. The bread is absolutely delicious and is what pushes their sandwiches to a 10/10 instead of just an 8 or 9. Everything else is cooked and made perfectly; excellent portions and reasonably priced. Service is fast and tireless, they work hard and it shows. I don’t often tip for pickup service, but I always will here, and at 20%+. Highly, highly recommend Paisley Hippo.“

“One of the best sandwich ever had. Prices are very good. Portions are perfect. Taste amazing. Fresh, lots of stuff inside the bread. Bread is fresh and tasty. Well balanced. It will become my go to when I come back to Vermont. 27$US (including tip, tax and 1 drink) they also have the Mossie drink which is an experience on it own😅“

“Wanted somewhere low-key for a friend going through a rough patch and this place was exactly right. Quiet enough to talk, warm enough to feel like a hug. Food was comforting and generous. Staff clocked the vibe and gave us space. Bill was fair. Came in for a meal, left feeling restored.“

“Can't recommend it enough! Everything tastes very fresh and it's carefully made, they got all our orders correct. The staff here is OUTSTANDING! They're efficient, professional, personable and overall a pleasure to interact with. We went on a very busy day, and even though inside seating is limited, we did find a spot to sit and eat. The facility was clean and well maintained and the drinks were fully stocked.“

“Nice Subway location with friendly staff, fast service, and fresh, tasty food. The employees were welcoming, and our order was made quickly and exactly the way we wanted it.

The only downsides are that there is no WiFi, and the restroom is kept locked, so you need to ask a staff member to open it each time. Aside from those small inconveniences, it’s a good place to stop for a quick and reliable meal.“

“Great sandwiches and burritos! Super affordable. Think $11-12 out the door where most places in BTV charges $16+. Hidden gem! Great place to grab a couple supplementary groceries, snacks or beer late at night. Owner works all the time and js very nice.“
