“I just found this place about a month and a half ago but it has been my favorite place for smoothies and fresh juice since! I won’t go anywhere else!! “First, I must admit - I LOVE smoothies! Emerald City Smoothie (ECS) is by far my favorite spot for one, and I frequent several locations throughout the county each week to enjoy them. I specifically picked the Tukwila location (even though there was a closer one to us) because they consistently make great smoothies and their staff are very friendly.We had a staff meeting of 20+ people to serve breakfast to. We wanted to create a 'make your own acai bowl' bar for staff. Martin (ECS) was fast to respond, extremely accommodating, and very helpful throughout the entire process. He hooked us up with the bowl bases in larger containers for easier transporting, their yummy granola, and all the bowls and silverware needed. We bought all the fruits for the toppings. Martin helped to build a package that met our food needs as well as our smaller budget.Upon pick up, the bowls were all ready and packed up at the agreed upon pick up time, the consistency was perfect, and the flavor was great! The team thoroughly enjoyed the bowls. We have several ECS fans on our team and they were so happy to be able to enjoy the real deal for an acai bowl. We not only impressed them but also made new fans out of those who hadn't had an acai bowl or ECS. Thank you for helping to bring more variety and creativity to our staff meeting menu. We will definitely be back!“
“Today we decided to go here for a little Pick me up as we did some errands in the morning. The parking here was easy for us, luckily. Upon walking in, there was music playing, it was clean, and the girl greeted us. I originally came here for a smoothie & to order some sea moss gel. I saw online at "da bomb sea moss" there was in every emerald smoothie store, but I guess they had no gel in this one, which is a bummer. We got three smoothies. We got the green machine, pb&j, and the tropical passion. The green machine and pb&j was a 10/10! I didn't like the tropical passion at all though because it didn't taste like it.... I'd go back here!“

“My favorite cafe in the area. Great crepes, avocado toast, and lattes. Sitting inside can be a challenge, but they have bar seating in addition to tables.One thing: they don't seem to follow their own rule about ordering before sitting down. Last time I was there, I couldn't sit at a table that a group apparently reserved... even though they didn't order yet.Despite this, I love this place and am very happy it's here. Being next to Trader Joe's is super convenient, too.“
“We went into this location with a large group of people on a day we were doing a scavenger hunt in downtown tacoma. All of our drinks tasted great and the store was very clean. Probably one of the biggest Emerald City buildings I have been in, there was enough space to sit/stand around and wait for the rest of our group to get their drinks. The only thing I would comment on is that there was only 1 person making drinks and she seemed overwhelmed and exhausted. There was a new lady that was taking care of the check out and no one to help her since there was only 2 of them there and the other person was making the drinks, I would recommend someone to be there to train the new person since the person making the drinks didnt have time.... it took a long time to check out.“

“I've been a fan of Nektar since I frequent the one in Capitol Hill often. On opening day, this location is the perfect spot for something healthy and fresh in the area. I got the acai bowl with blueberries, strawberries, and bananas. Definitely recommend the crunchy granola and agave nectar on top. It came to around $15 after tip. It is a perfect pick-me-up when you are in the area, don't want to cook, and the customer service was very helpful and cheerful. Immaculately clean and organized interior set a great impression. I have high hopes for this location, and I look forward for what is to come!“
