“An honest review: My grandma discovered this spot almost 30 years ago, and since then my parents and grandma have eaten here often, always saying it was amazing. Today I ordered food for takeaway for the third time, and honestly, it was just incredible. The Pad Thai is absolutely delicious, the Yellow Curry was amazing, same with the spring rolls and the Red Curry. The atmosphere is a bit dated, but the super tasty food and the incredibly sweet and friendly owners more than make up for it.
In short: The food is fantastic, the owners are super kind and sweet, the atmosphere is so-so — but if you want authentic, insanely good Thai food, this place is definitely a go-to.“

“We lived in Laos for 7 years and love Lao food. This is by far the most authentic tasting Lao food that we have found. We especially like their nem khao, Lao style sausages, and their jeow mak lin is the only real-tasting Lao tomato salsa that I have ever found outside of Laos or my wife's kitchen. They have done amazing job with their flavors and indoor casual atmosphere (feels very modern Vientiane chic). They seem to have a hard time keeping their khao piak noodles on hand so if you really your khao piak fix, be sure to call ahead. I have now been to Sweet Rice 5 times and they have never had the khao piak noodles. If you want really good Lao food and can't get over there, you can get your fix at Sweet Rice!“

This restaurant has some more authentic dishes, flavors, and spices not every Thai restaurant typically has.

Favorites here are Chicken larb, papaya salad, sticky rice, and their Currys are really good.

Sorry I do not have any photos currently, but overall experience to rate us sometimes just as important.

It's very small so somewhat limited parking. Just saw a sign inside that customers are allowed to park inside the motel gate as well so keep that in mind when visiting this restaurant.“

“Everyone loves their karaage chicken...huge servings! They also have the best Tom Kha...the flavor is spot on! Pad See Ew, drunken noodles, etc are all wonderful. Portions are large & prices are reasonable. But, biggest reason I keep returning is their terrific staff...just the nicest people!“

“I ordered food Appethaizing Thaih through uber eats. When the food arrived, we saw we only got our appetizers. I tried to contact the Uber driver in vain. So then I called the restaurant and was told the driver had only gotten one bag of food. The restaurant called the driver as soon as they realized he'd only picked up a portion of the order, but the driver's response was a noncommittal 'okay'. They hung up and we hoped the uber driver would return to the restaurant. I then got a call back from the restaurant. The uber driver never came back, so the owner himself drove the food out to our home. WOW. The food was also so delicious!!! Thank you, thank you! We so appreciate our local restaurants!!!“

“Tried Seree for the first time last night. They really did a beautiful job transitioning the space from an old Sheree's restaurant to an upscale Thai restaurant. The service was attentive, friendly and knowledgeable. The food was really delicious. We had crispy chicken wings, Salmon Choo Chee, Phad Thai, Thai Fried Rice, and a delicious beef salad. Overall, I loved it but will expect to pay a little extra for the atmosphere and great food next time, as the prices are higher than the typical Thai restaurant.“

Everything was fresh and full of flavor—the spring rolls were crisp and tasty, the Panang Curry with shrimp had a perfect balance of spice and creaminess, and the Pla Rad Prik was beautifully cooked with just the right heat. The jasmine tea rounded out the meal perfectly. The restaurant has a cozy, welcoming atmosphere, and Binda provided exceptional service, making the experience even better. “I was in the area near the Vehicle Licensing office and decided to look for a spot for lunch. Luckily, I stumbled upon a Thai restaurant—clean, modern, yet with an atmosphere that reminded me of my travels in Asia, where the ground floors of residential buildings often become cozy eateries. It brought back so many memories. We tried the Duck & Pork Belly combination. Duck was impeccable. Love their version of pork belly which has a certain chewiness and a nice crunch from the skin. The red curry (asked for 4 for heat) and it was mild with a little smoldering kick. Beautiful! We are heading back as we saw another table ordered the lunch special. Generous portion of curry, noodles & appetizer.

So if you love Thai food or simply want to try one,this is highly recommended—authentic atmosphere and nostalgia in one meal.“

“I've eaten here about 6 times and everything I've tried has been delicious. Usually I get soup - their Kao Pon is so tasty. The balance between the spiciness and the coconut milk and other flavors is amazing. Other highlights are the Pho and I usually share the Beef Sticks as an appetizer. The sauce that comes with them is so unique and spicy; they should bottle it! Comes with sticky rice. The staff are friendly and always create a welcoming and relaxed atmosphere. Truly love this place!“
