The people who work the breakfast shift here are the best. JonJon, Aster, Yuki, Mario—- they make coming here such a pleasure, are so warm and welcoming, and the best part of staying at the Westin.
Somehow they were not checking reservations via Open Table so they didn't prepare for us. Luckily it wasn't crowded, so we were able to get a table as we walked in. I would have a concern if booking for the weekend as I might not be lucky to get a table. The service was great. The manager even came out to apologize about the reservation issue. Not sure what happened but I do recall I once booked a reservation many years ago via Open Table. The food was generally okay...
Great breakfast, nothing exotic but flavors were good, bacon and chicken sausage were hot with good texture, cook is there to make eggs or omelette to order. On a Friday 830 am there were not many people, and the servers were very attentive. A bit pricey however it’s heavily discounted for Bonvoy platinum and I suspect it’s reasonable for this area.
