During my visit to the Whatcom Museum, I had the pleasure of discovering The Icing on the Cake. The owner courteously assisted me in selecting a Ding Dong and a Peanut Butter Oatmeal Cookie Sandwich. These baked goods are incredible. The owner seems like she’s having a difficult time with staffing and might be under a lot of stress, though. All of the items we got today were delicious and this is my new favorite spot. There were several gluten free options and I want to go back and try the others.

Everything was AMAZING! The cake in the ding dong and cupcake are not dense and hard like other makeup cupcakes can be. Instead both were most and fluffy!!! The cookie sandwich was quite literally the BEST cookie I've ever had. I should've ordered 10 haha.
