“I tried this restaurant with my mom for lunch today 7/26/24. They specially made a quesadilla for me because I knew I liked chicken quesadillas but wanted to try their shredded beef without full commitment if I didn’t like it, they made me a half and half!! And I LOVED the shredded beef quesadilla ❤️🔥 I’ll order a full shredded beef next time thanks to them letting me try it and offering that service to me. Their salsa is super yummy too, I will definitely be back! 5 star review from me ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“

“Tortilla Soup, by far my favorite here! If you order to-go it has a good amount, I'd say a little bigger than the normal "large" size container, and comes with a bag of nachos.
I have checked out other mexicano restaurants around covington/maple valley, but El Caporal is my fave.
Staff is always attentive and welcoming.

“I consider myself a bit of a burrito connoisseur.. and I have not had a better one than at this place.. at least not in western Washington. Any time I'm out in this area, I save room in my stomach for this place. Just wish there was more places to sit.

“Great Taco truck!! Super nice people running it, fast service and ordering process. Tacos came with onions and peppers on the side, delicious. They were stuffed with meat, cilantro, onion, and Quac on the pork I believe. Very good tasting Tacos and by far on the top three Taco places around the area. They do have a nice little outdoor seating and plenty of parking. My only two real complaint is there was not a sauce table, yes getting to go they gave two small sides of a sauce. But to be able to get some spicy sauces would be nice (I also did not ask and they may inside). Also the rice was not my favorite, had to try. But I will not ding a score for rice - since it shouldn't be on Tacos anyways!“

“This was my first time trying Pupusas and they were delicious. They are like a flatbread/tortilla stuffed with chicken, cheese or a variety of meat. Served with rice and beans. The sauces that come with them are also delicious with a tiny kick of spiciness. Some of the sauces and the Pico de Gallo are all flavor. I was so happy we decided to try this restaurant. It's homecooking at its best. The owner is a beautiful & friendly woman. It was a very pleasant experience and we will be going back.“

Taqueria La Finca in Black Diamond is my new favorite spot for amazing Mexican food. It’s a food truck with a covered area that has two tables, making it perfect for a casual meal outdoors. The menu is huge, with something for everyone. Whether you’re in the mood for tacos, burritos, or something else, they’ve got it all, and it’s all delicious.
The food is top-notch. Everything tastes super fresh and is bursting with flavor. I can’t get enough of their tacos—each one is a perfect blend of seasoned meat and fresh toppings. The enchiladas and tamales are also winners in my book. You can tell they put a lot of love into their cooking.
The people here are what really make the place special. The staff is incredibly friendly and make you feel right at home. They genuinely care about their customers, and it shows. It’s always a pleasure to visit and chat with them while enjoying a great meal.
The location is super convenient too. It’s easy to get to and has a cozy, welcoming vibe with the covered seating area. Whether you’re dining in at one of the tables or taking out, the atmosphere makes the experience even better.
