Food was very tasty.
Service was a little slow but they appeared to be understaffed in the service department.
There is a "service charge" they ensure you know is allowing them to pay their service staff a "living wage". If this place was charging a little more I'd decide if the cost was a good value for what I got. Attentive and knowledgeable servers offer helpful suggestions and casual conversation. The atmosphere is nice, making it a wonderful spot for dinner with friends, and a shining neighborhood gem. The food was outstanding and delicious, with portions that are huge. Prices were reasonable for the size of the portions. Brunch is also lovely. Amaro is a consistent restaurant with delish food and top-notch service. The brussels sprouts appetizer is huge and delicious. The short rib ravioli and pumpkin ravioli are fabulous, and the carbonara is loved. The grilled bread is quite good. The Gorgonzola salad had zero Gorgonzola taste. Service is excellent.
