“We had gone to Pacific House last spring and ordered fish tacos. They were delicious but the waitress said next time you come in you need to try the Ruben sandwich. So on this visit that is what we ordered. We only ordered one sandwich to share and an order of their brussel sprouts. Oh my goodness, the sandwich was so different and so delicious we will definitely be ordering that again and again. It had a pickled jalapeno croute that was so tasty. It was not too spicy if you would be worried about the jalapeno. The corn beef was smoked. I want the whole sandwich all to myself next time. The brussel sprouts were so delicious and had bacon crumbles and toasted almonds. They were so delicious I came back on Christmas Eve and ordered two orders to serve with our dinner that night. They reheated just fine and were perfect with our roast beef dinner.

Parking: Free parking for the evening. You need to pay the meter during the day.

Kid-friendliness: There is a bar and seating in the front of the restaurant and up a step and to the rear is regular seating and a side door with no step for family or wheelchair entry.“

“I’m really happy to have Playmakers in Ridgefield but our visit was a bit of a mess. Food took a long time to come out (over a half hour) and then they brought the wrong appetizer. Didn’t bring out the correct one until we were done eating and ready to leave. Then they charged us for the original wrongly put in appetizer that was more expensive which they didn’t notice until after we had already paid. They offer to credit our card back the difference but at that point we were just ready to leave. Also the $18 steak bites I bought were about 5-6 little dried out pieces of chewy meat. I took a picture because it looked so weird. But I’d still recommend Playmakers because it’s a great place to watch a game and they have a pretty varied menu. The staff was polite and a kept the refills coming during our long wait for food. We’ve been before and it hasn’t been so chaotic so hopefully our visit was just a fluke.“

However, I am a big fan of their French fries and steak bites, and the Brussel sprouts are good too! Service is good, the bartender is a kiwi and a great guy, very friendly and makes you feel welcome. They’ll usually have sports playing on the TVs too, so not a bad place to come watch a game.“

“1st time ever at any Applebee's! Loved loved our server Benji! The food took awhile they were pretty busy and they volunteerly took off 10 percent of bill all on their own without us ever asking. Food was hot large portions. One chicken tender dish was overcooked and they replaced them in minutes and gave a little discount as well for them. We will definitely be back. His bourbon chicken and blackened shrimp was too die for 😁“

“Packed, but wasn't hard to find seating. I ordered happy hour garlic wings and the ipa on tap. Really happy with the beer and wings although a few of them were tiny but passed as a full wing given the amount I ordered. The garlic sauce was real good! I liked the prices too. Service was fast and bartenders were friendly. Variety of sports playing on the mounted TVs. Would come back for a beer if I'm in Jantzen Beach in the future.“

“Ben's is AMAZING. Great rotating taps, small but SOLID food menu, and a wall of fridges with all the beer you could ask for! It's super close to home for me so it's a regular spot for the girlfriend and I to sneak off to and have a few drinks and play a game or two from their collection of board games. “Went there this morning, the place was nearly empty, and after 10 minutes of waiting went to the bar and asked the bartender if any wait staff was working. She said she was the waitress and was making drinks and would be with us shortly. After waiting 5-7 more minutes she came over to our table and said (straight away) that I had not waited "that long". Of course this was rude and I said, "we were done and leaving". I just tried to call (5 hours later) to speak to a manager and was told, "they are in and out and would call me back". I think I am seeing the issue....I will never go back. It was the worst experience I could ever imagine.“

We personally loved working with Gunjan and Justin. It's super clean and luxurious inside for bowling/arcade fun. We cannot wait to go back!“

“I'm a member and it's the only restaurant I know of where you can get a really good hamburger, fries and a soda for $10!! I think burgerville charges more than that! I prefer to sit in the bar because I'm single so it's more cozy and I like having the TVs to watch if I have no one to talk to 😉“
