“Steve & I dined at Feast tonight, for what turned out to be a very busy (somewhat unexpectedly so) night. They were down several staff persons, but those there were very friendly and making the best of it. Patience is a virtue! We were rewarded with an awesome meal! I just wanted something light, so I ordered skewer and toast which was a delicious combination of filet Mignon skewered and laying on focaccia toast and some wonderful sauces & microgreens. It was perfect! I also had coconut shrimp cup which was delicious as well. Several wonderfully coated shrimp (not in a cup but laying on some lovely salad leaves with yummy sauce.)Steve had the meatloaf with Brussels sprouts which was very filling and tasty. Those in the service business work so hard and we sometimes need to give people some grace… Kudos to the Feast staff!“

“I was hesitant to try another mariscos place in the area after trying a place that wasn’t very good, but I’m glad I gave Mariscos Tinto Del Mar a chance because they did not disappoint. I had the aguachiles Rojas - which were bien chiloso, pero bien rico. Más chingon el Mariscos Tinto Del Mar.“

“This is really an unappreciated gem in Vancouver. Seafood is always fresh and properly prepared. Chicken Caesar salad is enough for two meals. Service is surprisingly fast, and waitstaff are courteous and friendly. They have some interesting cocktails -- my favorite is the gin drink with passion fruit. Their Happy Hour menu is fantastic! Delicious coconut shrimp for about $9. So many other choices, and I have tried more than half of them. All have been good enough to order again. The only place that I know that even has Happy Hour on the weekends.“

“I happened upon a restaurant that serves authentic Chinese cuisine, including dishes like Mongolian beef, barbecue fried rice, house chow mein, and walnut shrimp, which sounded quite appealing. The staff were very welcoming, and the prices seemed reasonable, with plates ranging from $14 to $15. April, in particular, was very friendly. My children especially enjoyed the noodles, and we all appreciated the fresh food and generous portions, which left us with leftovers to enjoy later.“

“I love taking my significant other here. Whether it's her birthday or our anniversary, the setting is absolutely perfect, for just about any occasion.
The staff that works here are absolute. If you look up the definition of perfection in the webster dictionary, you would see a picture of the La Carreta waiting staff.
The food is exceptional and in 5 years coming here i have never had a bad experience nor left unsatisfied.
My wife had the fajitas, and I had the tostada deluxe.
My wife tried the spicy margarita and I had the blue mar margarita.
Exceptional all of it.

“First visit today. Throwback pricing, truly. I don't know how it works but they are charging what I would have expected to pay ten years ago. It was a great value. No, it isn't pretty outside. That does not matter. I can't believe somebody left a bad review based on that, while never having eaten here. It was plenty comfortable and the service was fast and friendly enough. “This location has been an unmatched staple to me and my partners favorite places to go.
For 4 years we've been consistently going 1-2 a week.
The food is always delicious, even if its a slower day, the quality is there, also.. Its pretty cheap, one of the more cheap sushi places to go to, and by far Akira is undoubtedly top 3 (me personally its #1)
They'll rotate whatever hasn't sold on time, from what I can tell they're always on top of sanitation as well.
The service is impeccable, getting around to everyone they can, always with a very calm and welcoming attitude whilst greeting and serving them.“

“I have been here multiple times. Coming here with a group and eating the dishes as it arrives is really a treat The food was fresh, piping hot and so well made. The serving is largish. The menu encompasses a wide range of cooking techniques. Look at the board listing the specials near the counter. They had a special that featured lobster fried rice or lobster lo mein for $19.95. A bargain.
Actually, we plan to go there for dinner tonight just to splurge. The combo dry style fried rice was great as were all the five dishes we ordered. It had a smokiness that isn't often found in other restaurants. The restaurant is rather old and tired, but it's the food that.that stands out. The owner is there all the time. She covers all roles, lol. I will update later tonight after dinner.“

“Washabi sushi is one of a unique place to try donut and burger sushi. The staffs are pretty nice and friendly. Foods are absolutely delicious and tasty with nice presentations. I would love to come back and introduce my friends to visit this place.“
