Restaurantji unveils Castle Rock's must-visit Mexican dining spots.
“The depth of flavors and authentic Southern Mexican dishes were so delicious! We truly enjoyed getting to know the owners and where their passion stems from, there is love built into this establishment!! We'll be back!Sorry. No photos, all of us ate our meals too quickly!“
“Good food good service what more can you ask for except free food. ?Parking: New location opening soon adjacent to current location.Kid-friendliness: My kid was delighted with the food asked if Jr. would tell him the recipe to his food lol.Wheelchair accessibility: Eazy peezy for the disabled“
“I would have gone sooner if I had know it was there and had street tacos ..Parking: Be careful about where you park if you have to back up and can't see ..Kid-friendliness: It is kid friendly they even have menu options for kids.Even if your not a kid or still are you can order up kid friendly food to play with .No jungle gym to distract kids from playing with food ...that's a plus .And no clowns ...Wheelchair accessibility: I'm not in a wheelchair but sometimes I should be . I would get in there with one and if there is no room I am sure it wouldn't take much to have some space ...“
“(Beth's mom) The food's always good. My husband and I enjoy the fajitas, our daughter likes the quesadillas and we all like their chips. Also, I've discovered that since I had Covid last year, their sour cream is the only type i can stand to eat. For some reason, all of the other sour creams, and yogurt, taste & smell sour or spoiled now but theirs doesn't have that effect on me. The people are always nice and polite. Anyway, thought I'd write a review finally.“
“Lunch time, 1st time eating there. I ordered Arroz con Mariscos, with scallops and shrimp. This was a very large meal, served with rice and tortillas. My friend ordered the Tacos del Buey, loaded with Carne Asada, served with beans and rice. The service was excellent. And a little bonus at the end of the meal, ice cream and whipped cream wad included.“
“This is the place we go to if we don't feel like cooking! The employees are nice and professional. The food is always delicious and fast. The only thing I don't like is that the salsa bar is only for dine-in customers. I really like the pico de gallo and the onions, but they don't offer to go portions.Vegetarian options: I had the chille relleno burrito.“
“So, as you all know, dear readers, I am a nightmare fan of clean. I didn't go in, so no comment there. I did, however, be very specific of what I wanted, quantity, sauce, and you know what? The 1st time, they nailed it! NAILED! The 2nd time - miss! Since when is a Baja Burrito (rolled burrito) a bean burrito? Twice? And when you ask for two containers of green sauce and get - none? And why, oh why, was this time SO different than my first experience? I ordered regular tacos the first time, and they were hot. Lettuce was crispy, a decent amount of cheese, and a firm piece of tomato on top. The 2nd time: Cheese? Uhm, okay, if you say so... I think? Some of the lettuce was brown. How does that happen? And the food wasn't as hot this time as the first! It was night and day from 1st time to 2nd. I still think I got someone else's order! Theirs must've been bloody close to mine to make it such a contrasted experience. But brown lettuce?“
“I am a huge fan of Taco Time NW. Not all TT are created equal imo. I currently reside closer to Portland and always enjoy when heading up north because exit 39 is where I can get the closest TT NW ? Nice fresh ingredients. I will say not a fan the mixed soda machine removed and card reader makes you acknowledge if you will tip or not. Don't like the pressure to tip at fast food but that's my issue not TT .....“
“The food was great and the environment in the restaurant is awesome. However, we were really disappointed in the initial service we received. Upon entering, we were going to look for the people we were meeting. We said we were looking to see if they were there. Immediately and quite rude and abrupt, we were told, “There is no one waiting for you!” It was uncomfortable being talked to in that manner. It is possible the servers were not having a great day, which I give them grace but the attitude did not change throughout our visit.I do recommend the restaurant for the food and environment.“
“Excellent food and drinks. I joined friends here that live in the area and it is one of their absolute favorite restaurants and Mexican food spots. They have tried a lot of Mexican food spots since they have Hispanic heritage so I trust their judgment. They weren't wrong. The server was a lovely woman who cracked some really funny jokes and had a warm genuine smile. It's always a good time when you find service that takes care of your food and is fun to engage with. Would come again!“
“I love it!.I've been here at this establishment a couple of times already. And each time I love it.The food, the service/hospitality.The ladies are really nice and are on top of providing great service to their customers.Tonight I had two orders of the deep fried ice cream, and my meals with a side of the chunky guacamole.Well worth the price!.It is salted just right, with lime juice and paired well with the seafood chimichanga ordered, I forgot the name of the dish. And the shrimp quesadilla, was a meal itself, it also pairs well with the chunky guacamole.“
“We are visiting and stopped on a whim. The flavor was great. Very authentic. The Baria was fantastic! The carne asada was very tough. I could not cut it with the table knife and could barely chew it. There are only a few tables to sit at, a lot of people were ordering take out. The Easter themed Christmas tree was super cute.“
“El Copadre never disappoints, we always have great food, great service, and a great experience when we go. The staff is always friendly, fast and kind, always smiling and always remember our usual orders. I can't recommend this restaurant enough 10 stars.“
